I loved this movie (and the soundtrack is really great too!), so I decided to read the book. I really enjoyed it, and I'm looking forward to reading the second book in the series. #ReadingThroughTheYears192021 #1999
This is my July #MakeMeReadIt TBR stack! I might not get to all of them, but please vote on the book(s) you think I should read first. 📚
@UwannaPublishme Thanks for recommending this cookbook! It just arrived today and it looks great so far!
I like the sense of humor with which Jenny Lawson talks about her struggles with illness. Some of these stories are absolutely hilarious!

#SongsOfSummer #SchoolsOut I don't know much about Alice Cooper, and I never really knew any of his songs other than School's Out, but I saw him in concert once and he put on a great show!

#JazzyJune This is a sad story of a #LoveLost when a young wife and mom dies of cancer. It's based on a true story, from the tape-recorded diary of the young woman. I read this as a teenager, and the story has stayed with me all these years.
I enjoyed the two different storylines, but at some point I started to wonder where they were headed, and how they would connect. And then in the last 50 pages, it all came together and made sense. Even if it hadn't, this is a well-written, interesting story.
Just finished listening to the third book in the Inspector Gamache series. I enjoy listening to the stories about Three Pines, and I like the narrator of these books.
