I caught the sunset today that left the sky with gorgeous shades of orange, peach, and pink.

Now I'm looking forward to a quiet evening alone with Chili's take out, wrestling, and a glass of wine.

I need some Litsy Love and positive vibes my way right now. I just found out that a co-worker that I work in close proximity to has been confirmed with COVID. I just keep praying that I'll be okay, and that she has a speedy recovery.

#KeepLitsyPositive Day 7 I usually don‘t go on FB but this week I‘ve spent almost as much time there as I have on Litsy😳 I‘m surprised & thankful to see a lot of positive stuff in my FB feed: our friends‘ Catlympics, memes reminding us that humanity isn‘t lost, musicians (like my younger brother) performing via FB Live & my library issuing temporary cards online for people to use their digital collection. We‘ll make it through this together! 🤗💕

#keeplitsypositive This is JB, my cuddly kitty. As soon as I sit down with a book, he is right there in my lap. He gets annoyed, because I should obviously be petting him with both hands. This sweet boy has meant so much to me this year. I got him in January of 2019 as a birthday gift to myself. It was about a month after my husband died. There were many days where I would sit and hold him for hours. He has always seemed to know what I need.

#KeepLitsyPositive Day 4 My library is my happy place but it‘s still a mess from the Christmas holiday shuffle aka “temporarily putting stuff out of the way” and also from hitting a few book sales and not having time to find homes for all my new acquisitions. I‘m looking forward to using my time off to finally get my library back into shape! I‘ll share pics when I‘m done.

I‘m smiling because I need to stay positive ! I had two interviews this week! One on Monday for a position at the library at the YMCA and the one today was in Special Collections and Archives at the downtown location. Now I have to wait and see which or if I get one of the positions !

So life at the moment is extremely stressful. In order to combat the effect this has on my mental health I have decided to do a #PostOfPositivity every Friday to focus on the positive things that have happened during the week.

This week:

? I finally went to the library and got a library card
? I caught up on all my #LitsyLove replies with just one more to post tomorrow
? I found a little second hand bookshop and got three books for Q9.50

Week one photo challenge!

My current favorite positive mantra... after an ankle injury last summer and a leg injury earlier this year that derailed my years-long practice of walking 3 miles per day, I‘m just happy to be able to do it again with no pain!
