It wasn‘t supposed to be quite this much of a storm. Two of my clients today come from a distance, so they both want to reschedule. The third said she has too many hills to travel. So it‘s a #snowday for me! On deck: reading, reviews, #audiopuzzling, and I should work on our taxes too. Probably I‘ll get to do the snow blower also, since Mr. B still has a lot of shingles pain. How early can I start drinking wine??

The second snow day in a row here in Yorkshire where the Beast from the East has hit with a vengeance. With the car going nowhere and a 1 year old to look after, not much reading is getting done. Combined with a bit of a rubbish time at work and said 1 year old‘s refusal to sleep at night, I‘ve barely picked up a book all week.
Hope all the other UK Littens are staying safe in the snow and enjoying some bookish snow days! ❄️📚

Driving in the snow? No thanks ?‍♀️ day off for me it is then! I‘d love to read all day but I‘m with my mum so we‘re watching 90 day fiancé ?

My work building isn‘t opening until 10 am due to the snow and ice, so I decided just to take the whole day off.

I plan on enjoying this fire and reading all day.

Even the sunny south is having a snow day. I‘m in the 4-8 book swath. I will say the big puffy white flakes are beautiful (from inside) but Heat Miser must be having a fit right about now! And my very southern dog didn‘t appreciate going outside at all and the very southern cat put exactly one paw into the snow on the deck before turning right around and coming in. 😂😂😂

We‘re watching minions and reading this morning, and I think we‘ll finally get to make some gingerbread cookies this afternoon. I wasn‘t sure if I was going to have time to make cookies this year... this snow day could not have been more perfectly timed!

Spending this Saturday in bed cozy with a book after the surprising snow we got yesterday here in Atlanta. 😍❄️

My outside reading spot is covered in this white stuff again. It's getting harder and harder to fight off the depression and anxiety these days. I think I need some light therapy. And a beach book.

It is town voting day here in New Hampshire. So I am here keeping the library open because we are in the same building where voting happens. It's actually kind of fun, we made cookies for patron appreciation, and a few people have wandered in. Mostly we're all just hanging out and visiting.

It is cold here in NE Ohio, and thanks to lake-effect snow and the big storm on the east coast, I have a snow day today! #Daisy and I are sitting by the fire. I am reading while she keeps my lap warm. Perfect 😍

I'm not even mad that I got 3 phone calls, 3 emails, and a text message alerting me to that fact 15 minutes before my alarm went off.

I just wanted a legit snow day today. 😭 We haven't had a single one this winter, so I feel like they could've just given this day to us. Way to let us down, OPM. #trumpsamerica

A few hours ago, the school district already called it as a snow day for tomorrow! Still awaiting the blizzard but it's supposed to be 12-18 inches when it's done. I'm thinking of the books I'll get to read and in my mind, which ones! Of course we'll also have to shovel but.... ❄️📚❄️📚❄️

Uh oh. They just updated the forecast. I might need to grab some supplies before the storm.

Oh no - snowblower broke. We have about a foot of snow. And see that tiny light way in the distance? That's the end of my driveway. It's going to be a long day, but I think that I can at least skip the gym after I'm done.

In our school district, we don't get automated robocalls when schools are closed for snow.

We get this.

They're already scrolling school closings for tomorrow on the news, so methinks my office will be closed, too. It was around sixty degrees today, and in 24 hours we'll be on the other side of what could be 8-12"!

I hope to consume coffee and books, in between digging my car out of what's expected to be wet & heavy snow.

Went out for a snowy drive and lunch yesterday and then tucked back in under the warm covers for more reading!!

Still mostly sleet in NW Atlanta suburbs, but 2-4" of snow predicted. This native Yankee is hoping we get every bit of that. I miss snow! Hunkered down with books & wine.

Woke up to this! So pretty! 😍❄️ And @MrBook gets to stay home with me because the local library is closed today due to the snow. Yay! Now we get to spend this wintry day together reading and sipping tea. Maybe later we'll go for a walk around the neighborhood to admire the winter wonderland outside. ☃️
