Decent book but it fell a little flat for me.
Always happens...2 come off holds at the same time!! Starting with Children of Blood and Bone first!!
Three years ago I got lasik. This week they told me I have to start wearing reading glasses. Now I remember how much I hate wearing glasses! 😀
I don‘t know if I‘m team Harry Potter just yet...found it just ok. My sister is not happy.
1960s, young man from America travels to Europe to go to graduate school. Sees beautiful woman on boat and is introduced via a mutual acquaintance. After they part from the trip, he constantly thinks of her and ends up meeting with her again as they start a love affair. This book was fair. The plot was decent but the details of the rooms they were in or the close they were wearing was a bit too much for me.
Two days to finish this one then on to the next in a hurry to get to all these ones from my holds that of course came up all at once!!
The second consecutive book that has mentioned an ouroboros. The previous book was way better but this one is still interesting...and a bit of a yawn. 😴
Getting in some reading while taking in our awesome ocean view and having lunch on our short vacation away from the snow and cold!
Ugh...I have to bail on this one. I so enjoyed The Devil in the White City but this one is way too boring for me with the he wrote this and she wrote that 🙄
Current read. I love Susanna Kearsley books!! 💙💙
Now I want to check out Boat Street! Romantic mystery set in Seattle on a houseboat on Boat Street going back and forth between Ada‘s life in the present to the previous boat‘s resident, Penny, in the past. Ada has suffered some serious hardships and is still in mourning while Penny has been missing for decades. An easy, enjoyable read.
