Every year when the winners are announced I‘m reminded again of how out of step I am with the rest of the Goodreads readers. 🙄
Ok guys, here‘s my #Top10oftheDecade #Nonfiction. This was SO hard. I love me some nonfiction and narrowing the list was painful. Six of these would be on the list any day I made it: Just Mercy, Evicted, The Fire This Time, Quiet, The Sixth Extinction, and Dreamland, in no particular order. I could have just as easily had four different books in the other slots.
Books on The Go is 100! (Episodes not years 😜). New episode is up now. 🙌🏼🎧 Our best books of 2019. 💫
(Mine were : We That Are Young, The Overstory and Ducks, Newburyport).

The Guardian has decided to put together a list of the top 100 books since 2000. Always dangerous! It‘s an interesting read.

2018 was a busy year—graduated with my masters, moved out of state, started my first full-time job, and got married—but I still managed to read 157 (according to Goodreads) books! I highlight my top ten on my blog. What were your favorite reads of 2018?

Such a good list @batsy! I have read some of them already (green) but since we agree of almost all of them I'm really looking forward to reading the rest. #NewYearWhoDis Thanks for the great match @monalyisha
Settling in to watch The Great American Read on PBS 🤗
I'm stuck at the vet this morning waiting to get some test results back for my kitty Gus (he's been pretty sick lately so we're hoping today helps us figure out why) but I forgot my book at home! Anyone have any recommendations (book or otherwise) to help keep me entertained?

What should I be reading before the end of the year lists and voting does start?
10 Years in 10 Books! #readathon
These were my favorite books of each of the last ten years. It got harder the further back I went because I had read more books in each of the published years.
I may finally attempt my first 24 hour challenge with #eclecticreadathon, since that weekend is my summer staycation @EclecticReaders @Merethebookgal
Countdown before the New Year - hoping to hear your favorites of 2016! There is no way to pick just one very best book, so how about some categories? For today, post your pick for winner of the "High Entertainment Value" award and add the #highentertainmentvalue tag so we can find it easily. I'm guessing lots of suspense/thrillers or fantasy for this round. Tomorrow's award: Most Informative. Looking forward to seeing what y'all loved this year!
