monalyisha @dabbe Natalie Babbitt was a master of her craft. And children‘s literature that makes you sob is my favorite. 😅 Don‘t get me started on Bridge to Terabithia… 4d

The Graveyard Book | Neil Gaiman
post image

@dabbe #TLT #ThreeListThursday

1) Jane Eyre

2) Great Expectations

Had a pocket paperback edition for 1+2 that fit into my coat and I read it whenever I had a spare moment. Even walking to school.

3) The Graveyard Book

I chose books I didn't have to read in school, because the majority of books for the genre (that were required reading) were not my cup of tea.

dabbe I sometimes wonder how many books I might have “killed“ when requiring students to read them. I tried to pick good ones, but there's nothing like a person being able to choose what they want to read. #3 is on the TBR! #1 could have been in my top 3, too! Thanks for sharing. 💚💙💚 5d

Thanks @Eggs for the #WondrousWednesday tag!🤗

1️⃣ The many things I learned from HB, the author of this book & one of my all-time leaders/mentors would take too much space but 3 are 1) Lead with your values & don‘t work for a company if your values don‘t match. 2) Put people over profits—a true leader serves people. 3) Build relationships & “trust banks” first.

2️⃣ Talent Development & Training

3️⃣ Independently wealthy bookstore owner! 😉

UwannaPublishme Yay on all 3…especially #3! 🙌🏻📚🙌🏻 5d
Eggs Well done 👍🏼 #3 sounds great! 5d
Kitta Oh yes a bookstore would be great! 5d
DebinHawaii @UwannaPublishme @Eggs @Kitta I added the independently wealthy so I don‘t have to struggle & can enjoy it & all the books! 😉😆 5d
Eggs @DebinHawaii Of course! 4d

2) Mostly retired tax consultant
3) Totally retired traveler

Just started the tagged - so it can't count!

The third one is listed as nonfiction - it was a quick fun read for anyone who reads cozy mysteries that take place in a quaint English village.

Thanks for the tag @TheSpineView - took me a while to think about and review the books I've read in the past few years ( I don't read much non-fiction)
