Finished yesterday for #Roll100 May (#3: Any ARC) I find I love the comfort of a cozy fantasy, even better if it‘s a foodie cozy fantasy as then one is. About Arletta, a human with no magic, just getting by on selling her amazing baked goods when Theo, an elf shows up with an invitation to the Langheim Baking Battle, an elf-run magical baking contest that no non-magical has ever won or been invited to but would change ⬇️

All intriguing novella‘s

Second in the Ill-Mannered Ladies series, this one did not disappoint. I finished on a rainy day of vacation and want to tell the author to hurry up with book #3. #24-2025

Themes: Molly the Maid #3, Whodunit, Semi-Epistolary novel

A good, solid “pick” if you enjoyed the previous ‘Maid‘ books 👍 My only compliant still after finishing it was what I already posted about; it was annoying that the diary entries didn‘t look any different from Molly‘s POV in current day, so I won‘t go into that again (but man, that realllllllly irked me 😆).

February 2025 Book #5

I really enjoyed this book but I understand is not for everyone because is slow, maybe story was dragged a little bit and some convenient actions present that helped that ending. I usually don‘t like or enjoy stories about addictions, maybe too close to work, but there was something in the writing style that I loved, how author described the characters, that self talking, reflection, so deep, so many wonderful quotes⬇️
