bailedI did not realise this was a/b/o, I thought it was shifter hierarchy stuff, that's on me! I generally don't enjoy that trope and a lot of what I don't like about it was found in this book.
Aside from that, this is not well written. There were spelling mistakes, grammatical errors, weird sentence structure and the writing was lazy.
I gave it a go but I ended up DNFing it.

so-soThis is not something I would usually read. I do not like bugs. I get itchy thinking about them. I itched all the way through this book and my legs never fully relaxed.
It lost momentum at the end. Once things were revealed it flubbed a bit and didn't have that tension the rest of the book had.
Still a good solid creepy book.

I enjoyed them all except The Horoscope Writer. Tagged was a nice palate cleanser fantasy satire told from the pov of a reluctant dark wizard. However I enjoyed the claustrophobic space-spelunking horror vibes from The Luminous Dead and the confirmation I got from How to Sell a Haunted House that puppets are indeed more creepy than dolls, and I'm ready for more spine-tingles for the week ahead! #flerken

The cover is a bit basic but the synopsis looks intriguing: Julie is a 'Dreamer' someone who enters into other people's nightmares to kill evil spirits & Grey Haven is the name of the school where she trained. Julie uncovers a conspiracy to bring down the school from the inside.

Went to the Scottsdale Civic Center Library for the 1st time today. Loved this display for National Hispanic Heritage Month!
