This was a re-read, but I hadn't read it in at least 7 years. There's so much that I didn't remember, such as how truly horrible Snape is to the trio. I loved all of Harry's interactions with Lupin and his uses of the Patronus charm. I also enjoyed all of the quidditch matches. I wish the movies had more quidditch. I ended up reading most of this book over the last week which is pretty quick for me lately. Now onto GoF!

Volume 3 of Kid Loki in Journey into Mystery was really interesting! The artwork was really cool whenever Son of Satan was in a scene. Hellstrom is like a cross between Supernatural and Castlevania.

Volume 2 was good! I enjoyed seeing how Kid Loki dealt with the Serpent. Volstagg's tale of the Serpents defeat was entertaining! #marvel #kidloki #loki

The book isn't actually out yet, but I read the episodes (so it counts). Still loving it! I'll probably be on episode 150+ by the time the third volume comes out (or has a release date). The episodes are quite easy to fly through and read one after the other because I want to know what happens.

Leila has been wanting me to read this series for quite a while now. I finally started it last week and I love it! The modern take on the Greek gods is interesting. So far I've enjoyed all of the scenes between Hades and Persephone. I'm looking forward to the next episodes!

So the Loki: Agent of Asgard series is actually part 3 of a trilogy involving Kid Loki so I decided to go back to part 1 and read through until I get to where I left off with Agent. Vol 1 of Fear Itself starts off with Kid Loki who is the recently reincarnated Loki. I enjoyed seeing Kid Loki making deals between various parties to advance his agenda. Very interesting!

It was really interesting! I really like this Loki; they're not too far off from the MCU Loki. Very witty and modern. In this one, Loki is doing missions for Asgard to erase his past misdeeds, one misdeed erased per mission completed. I'm looking forward to seeing what's next! #marvel #loki #asgard

My book for #egypt month of #foodandlit. It was interesting, but it really shows its age now (simplistic, sexist, old-timey language). This was issue no. 19 of the original Fantastic Four run. I look forward to reading more recent Kang the Conqueror comics.

First book of 2022 read on 1/4! This may be a record for me. I've read Chamber several times in the past, but it's been several years since the last time I read it. It's interesting how different things are from the movie. I would pretty much always prefer the movies to follow the books exactly (even if it ends up being six hours long, that's what intermission is for!), but I understand why certain scenes are different in this case. #harrypotter

Spoilers ahead! I wasn't planning on reading the entire volume last night, but it was just so good!! I really loved the parts where both Captain Marvel and Kamala's mother tell her they're proud of her, I teared up a bit. The part that really got me with Captain Marvel was when she was like "I see why everyone thinks you're so special and I wish I had more time to spend with you". I can't wait to see what's next for Ms. Marvel! #msmarvel

4 books more than my goal of 10 books. Really, it's thanks to Marvel Unlimited that I reached my goal in the first place. I started reading comics after watching the Loki TV show on Disney+. It was so interesting I wanted more!

I've been loving the Ms. Marvel comics! I really enjoy the nerd/gamer culture comments. Also, Lockjaw is an awesome dog! I hope we see him in the TV show.

It's been quite a while since I last read through the books. After watching all the movies in October with @Catsandbooks I decided to read them all again. It's amazing how much was left out of the first movie! I'd love to see the books adapted as 10 45-60 minute TV episodes so they can fit in everything!

I know very little of Marvel outside of the MCU so I read The Eternals Omnibus in preparation for the Eternals movie in November. It was interesting seeing the deviants and the eternals and their interactions. However I was disappointed that the original plot line of the celestials returning to earth to judge humanity was not resolved and barely went anywhere. Does anyone know if that storyline is resolved in another run? #eternals #marvel

wanderinglynn I haven‘t read these yet. But @GrilledCheeseSamurai or @TieDyeDude might know. 12mo
TieDyeDude This was the full original run, cancelled before resolving plot points. I think it may have continued in a Thor run, but I'm not sure 12mo
Light_of_Aether Ohhh, that makes sense. I didn't know it was canceled. Thanks! 12mo

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ of 5! I listened to the audiobook, but I think ebook or physical would have been better because sometimes I missed a word or two and then I lost the meaning of the sentence. It's difficult to scrub back and forth when doing dishes and other chores (which is primarily when I read audiobooks). Even though it's "dumbed down" a bit, it's still a bit hard to grasp in places. Overall, very interesting.

I read the audiobook version of this book. It was really interesting learning about the women who broke the German and Japanese cryptographic codes.

Wishful Drinking | Carrie Fisher

I give this book 4/5 stars. It was very interesting and at times very funny. I had no idea of the struggles Carrie Fisher went through. Very privileged, but substance abuse, depression, ECT, and waking up to a friend dead in your bed. I enjoyed Carrie's narration and I look forward to reading/listening to more of her books.

6/5 stars!! This is an excellent sci-fi novel! Thinking about it kept me lying awake on a couple nights I read it before bed. I know a little bit of quantum physics, but not enough to know if all the physics are correct or not. Within the boundary of the book, all physics were consistent. Crouch uses the multiverse theory to great effect! I'm looking forward to reading the book of his my wife just got in BotM.

A very interesting book on military science. I didn't care for all of the subjects (half are medical), but they were interesting. I learned a lot. Four out of five stars.
