Another win by Meg Gardiner! Quite a cliffhanger, kept my attention from beginning to end. Really love this writing style and series. Can‘t wait to read the next one

I could not put this book down! It‘s such a fast paced, action packed read. Meg Gardiner is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. If you‘re a fan of Criminal Minds, then you will thoroughly enjoy this series.
#CurrentlyReading reminds me of a great criminal minds episode! Can‘t put it down!
Hoping to rediscover my reading mojo during this long holiday weekend. Hope everyone enjoys and stays safe!
This definitely had Silence of the Lambs vibes to it, just like the first book did. There were a couple times I felt like it was dragging a bit, but then it would pick up. I‘m definitely enjoying this series. The third one is out, but I‘m going to wait for paperback (because that‘s what my first two books are). 🔪🔪🔪🔪
I‘ve been slowly reading this. It‘s not as good as the first, and even drags in some spots, but I‘m anxious to find out how it ends. Hoping to finish it tomorrow. Or today because it is almost 1:00am. Ugh I‘m normally not a night owl, so this is weird to me. Off to go read...
This book is great, though nowhere near as good as UNSUB, in my opinion. Loosely based on the crimes of Ted Bundy, FBI agent Caitlin Hendrix finds herself in Texas, chasing down a killer who has been kidnapping and brutally murdering women. If you know anything about Bundy, the book drags a bit, since it‘s easy to know where the plot is going. However, the ending deviates from Bundy and is gripping with a killer cliff hanger! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
SUPER SALE ALERT!
I really enjoyed the first book in this series tagged below.
#uglylocationchallenge (graffiti wall in town within a few blocks of where I work). Also, this series is intense. There is trigger warnings of uncomfortable topics, but the two main characters are a blast to read about, and you can't help but admire the mastery of the unsub. Also, hello cliffhanger. #recentlyread #nospoilers #mysteryfiction #unsub #profiling #serialkiller #toughread #seriesfiction 😮⚠️🔞🤔🖤
I loved the second book in the “Unsub” series. I was on the edge of my seat and blew through this one in less than two days.
⭐⭐⭐⭐✨
Shockingly, I loved this book just as much as the first! I like that Meg Gardiner brought in other antagonists in this book instead of just continuing on with the origional book's storyline. I feel like this lead to the success of this sequel. Excited to continue reading these UNSUB novels.
Ive got to do better about posting on #Litsy. This was another fantastic book in the Unsub series (currently 2 books old). It‘s perfect in what it tells the reader and what it holds back. I really enjoyed the reveal of the killer and the twist that took. It took a very procedural kind of plot and put it on its head. Can‘t wait for the next one!
I‘ll be anxiously awaiting another page turner from Meg Gardiner! This one did not disappoint!
Excellent book! Doesn‘t get much better than a FBI criminal profiler tracking down a serial killer. I love how Meg Gardiner uses the inspiration of real life serial killers in her stories. This one is inspired by Ted Bundy.
I really enjoyed the first book, Unsub, but I think I liked this second book in the Unsub series even better. Probably due to Caitlin moving into profiling with the FBI & the whole suspenseful serial killer cat-and-mouse plot. Great pacing, tension-building & characters & a couple of good twists & what a cliffhanger ending! 😱Since I read the first two books pretty close together, it's going to be hard to wait for the next book to come out.

Why does library book time seem to go twice as fast as regular time?! It seems like I'm just saying hello to a book, when I turn around & have to say goodbye to it. I'm trying finish this one up before it goes back next week. It's really good, but I just have had too many review books & too little time to read. 📚📚📚😬📚It, popcorn, and the Hugh Jackman Les Mis on cable are keeping me company on this #wildsaturdaynight
Sooo good!!! Stinks that we have to wait for the next one to come out next year! 😱🤗
Cuddling a little with Theo before leaving to teach class and train some clients!
Up early on a Sunday calls for snuggles with this cuddle pug and getting into this book! 🤗
Good grief this was good! A Ted Bundy-ish serial killer, an FBI BAU agent that is a serious female badass, and a book that I just couldn‘t put down! This is the second in the “UNSUB” series and I can‘t believe I have to wait until next year for the third! Loved it!!!!

I usually have at least one thriller going in my current reads stack. Tonight I'm eating a late 🍿dinner & reading a bit more of this 2nd book in the Unsub series. I just read CBS is adapting it for television. Cool. Still almost 4 hours of reading time for the month. I won't finish this one-but I've got about 30 minutes of another book to finish up for May.
Mahalo to @Cinfhen & @eanderson for this month's 🎶 challenge! 🌺🌺
Book 2 in Gardiner‘s UNSUB series. Just as good as the first. Thriller, suspense, characters you want to invest in. Here‘s hoping there will be a book 3! 🤓
I am wanting to read this slowly as I don‘t believe there is a third book in the series yet. This is the second book in the Unsub series and I am loving it so far. Serial killers, FBI agents and fast pacing. This is like dessert!!!
Today's lunch & blog post for #soupersundays is an easy Creamy Tomato Soup. I made it mostly to go with toasted bread spread with my leftover Herbed-Garlic Cheese & it was perfect. It's about 80 degrees F. here today, but it's also cloudy, gray & humid--so good for soup & for hanging out & reading. I did my #audiosouping to Educated & then started this book over lunch. #lazysunday
Link to soup recipe is below in case you are interested. 🍲❤️
Totally treated myself to a book since I haven‘t purchased many (I have 2 coming from book depository 😳) and I‘ve been dying to read this one! I‘m using this as my #americassweetheart because the main character is a bad ass! I couldn‘t pass up the Groot bookmark!!! So cute! #getmovin #mounttbrchallenge
Between games reading on a beautiful Saturday....
This one is has a storyline inspired by Bundy. It is fast paced and reads like an edge of your seat action movie. The pacing is great even though we find out who the killer is early on you still want to keep reading. Caitlin Hendrix is now an FBI agent and she is on the hunt for this monster. She has a new partner and I really enjoyed their dynamic. Unsub is quickly becoming one of my favorite series and I look forward to hopefully many more.
Attempting to fight the Sunday night blahs with a new book and Supernatural. I love Crowley 🖤
11 PM and I just finished this. Read a little yesterday. Couldn't put it down this afternoon. Women are disappering. A serial killer that looks normal. FBI called in. Caitlin has to get inside his mind to figure out who it is.
I am excited to start this. Loved Unsub. Got this yesterday at the library.
This book exceeded my expectations. It was even better than Unsub. The story did not end on a predictable note. It kept me guessing and then dished out even more surprises. I recommend this book and series to anyone who is a fan of authors like Stephen King, James Patterson, Sarah Bailey, Riley Sager and AJ Finn. I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. I‘m waiting patiently for book three to be released in 2019. #meggardiner #intotheblacknowhere
I learned a new word while reading chapter 50. The word is bivouacked. It means rest or assemble in an area. Pretty cool. You learn something new each day. 😊
This series is so. good. When I pick it up, I can‘t put it down until I read the whole thing.
Well, it looks like I am a fan of Meg Gardiner. I decided to start her next book before I go to sleep. #meggardiner #intotheblacknowhere
The second book in the Unsub series was excellent! It kept me wanting more and the ending was WOW! I‘m ready for the third book already! 😩
Is it an appropriate excuse to call into work tomorrow because I stayed up all night trying to finish my book?? 😂🤔
I loved this book. This is a fantastic new series with a relatable main character. I enjoyed the crime at the center of the book as well as the characters. This was a quick and engaging mystery. I personally liked the nods to real crimes. I am already looking forward to the next book in this series! A pick for me!
Hmmm I was hoping this was going to be more of a who- done - it. I loved the first Unsub book. This one was more of a action thriller. I saw that the series is going to be made into a series. I‘m just wondering how it‘s going to be different from criminal minds? The other pic is from my office- the ice made for a beautiful view. 🌧❄️
It was too early for our household to be 😴 so we made coffee. @nelehelen found this for me- its delicious. Thanks again!! 💜💜 Im reading the tagged book and watched Live PD. Happy Saturday Littens!
4 days in a row of snow helped me finish book 14 of 2018!!! It‘s a great follow up to Unsub!!! Ended on a cliffhanger so can‘t wait for book 3. The FBI is chasing a serial killer. You‘d think his capture would be the end but it‘s just the beginning.
THIS BOOK is FANTASTIC. It‘s the best thriller I‘ve read so far this year, I literally did not put it down.. it was THAT GOOD. And I absolutely love the main character Caitlin, she‘s extremely smart and doesn‘t back down to anyone. Run don‘t walk to pick this up. I rated all the stars ❤️

Random thought: Does anyone else find it odd reading books that take place in the city you live in? Anyways, Meg Gardiner continues to crush it. What I like the most about this second book is how different it is from the first one. The first, a rip roaring roller coaster ride. This one is more clinical and procedural. A book more concerned with the aftermath. What happens after they've been caught? That doesn't make it any less exciting.
“We serial killers are your sons; we are your husbands: we are everywhere.” Ted Bundy
OKAY, MEG GARDINER, GET ON THE NEXT ONE. I have absolutely no chill left after this, and THAT ENDING. I love this series, and am pretty excited that apparently, it‘s going to be a CBS show! #intotheblacknowhere #meggardiner
Reading a book about a serial killer in bed may not make for a restful night. 😳 So good though.
