Congratulations on hitting @Kdgordon88 👏🏻 and thanks for the giveaway. My favorite book is The Lord of the Rings by J. R. R. Tolkien. I love the world of Middle Earth and it's people, especially Aragorn 💜 My most wishes for book is The Frighteners by Peter Laws. I think it sounds fantastic 👻
Weekend away in Wellington having some monstrous fun. Just been to Weta Workshop - seen props costumes models animatronics etc from LOTR, Hobbit, District 9, Avatar, Narnia, Thunderbirds, Ghost in the Shell, Alita, I am Mother and Pacific Rim. Any LOTR fans? You would love this place.
Went to see the movie Tolkien today in a movie theater. It was my first time visiting this theater. I was so surprised to find it was full of really comfortable arm chairs! You could also order drinks or food and eat it during the movie. I think I have found my new favourite movie theater! 😍😱 The movie was good as well by the way... 😁
Went to the movies with hubby to see Tolkien this afternoon. It basically covers his life from age 12 when his mom dies, his time at King Edwards School, Oxford & WWI, summing up his marriage and the beginnings of Lord of the Rings. We both enjoyed the story and I liked how they flashed thoughts and pieces of LOTR ideas as they came to him throughout his life.

I was expecting to come up as an Elf, but... this is pretty accurate. “It‘s not that you‘re antisocial per se...” 😂

Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Men, doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie....
1. I would prefer the second book to not be western, romance or chic lit. I'm willing to give anything else a shot.
2. I would love to meet Stephen King.
3. Not necessary
4. Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, Supernatural, Harry Potter, Xena, mostly I love fantasy and horror.
7. Not at all, just as long as I can still read it.
10. Crystals, gargoyles, bookmarks
When I think of journeys & home, my mind immediately goes to several books, one being The Lord of the Rings. "Short cuts make long delays."

This “collectors” edition was my pride and joy when I got it as a teen in the ‘70s. How many times have I read it cover to cover? Probably 20+, and with grubby little Gollum fingers to judge by the fore edge of the text block. I have added other editions since then but this is still a treasure.
Oh my gosh! This is the cutest little Gandalf ever! One of my favorite book characters! Legit so happy about this guy! Could have just sent me him and I would have been happy! 😂 Thank you @KatieDid927 ! The LotR stickers are amazing and thank you for the card as well!
Fandom taken to new heights...
1. The Lord of the Rings!
2. Rivendell / Imladris or Lórian / Lóthlorien I would love to live with the elves. My dream life would to actually be an elf. My D&D character is an elf wizard.
3. The Dead Marshes and Mordor
Cannot even imagine having to walk through swamps full of bloated dead people eek and Mordor is just the worst. #whatwouldyoudo
4. @Literary_Siren @ErinSueGreads @DaveGreen7777 @HufflepuffGirl9
I mean, who among us is honestly surprised that Sauron is back? The world is ripe for his taking.
We‘re gonna need a bow, an axe, some Ents, and dirty, sweaty, scruffy Viggo Mortensen, stat!
Bye LoTR! 👋🏻
Just stumbled upon a new movie soon to be released about JRRTolkien which looks pretty good. It investigates his life & his adventures that provided inspiration for his writing. #page2screen
"Home is behind, the world ahead,
And there are many paths to tread
Through shadows to the edge of night,
Until the stars are all alight."
Also this Google maps version of Middle Earth! ?

Look at all these great books! So March is over and here are all the books I bought (minus The Shadow Rising by Robert Jordan which is on its way). In my defense it was my birthday this month so some of these were gifts. The rest came from my local library for 10 cents each or Goodwill for $2-$5.
Nerdishly taking notes #lordoftherings🤓
#audiocooking Japanese curry with the BBC Radio production of the Fellowship of the Ring. Ian Holm, who voices Frodo in the radio production, is the actor who plays Bilbo in the movies. 🍛
When books and legos collide the result is GLORIOUS!
I have nice copies of this book, that I refuse to read, because I don‘t want to mess it up… This is the kind of book I need to underline in and write things down in. 🤪🤪🤪
Like many Littens, I'm dragging this morning. Here's a daylight savings time meme for a laugh.
And couldn't resist posting this. It is actually an lnstagram challenge, but it sounds such fun. I doubt l'll be able to stay abreast, but l'll do my best.
I am determined to finish this baby, it may take me weeks / months but I‘ll get there 😊
