I. Am. So. Excited! This came out on May 7th but I couldn‘t get to my local bookshop until yesterday — it‘s 40 minutes away. Yes, I could have picked it up on release day at B&N but some books are worth waiting for when it means supporting the independents.

Read book 1 to my daughter & husband five years ago — she was in K, it was the 1 school/1 book choice. Now she‘s read many titles mentioned in book 1. I hope she‘ll give it a reread. #lgpog

Mdargusch I have book #1 in my tbr for the pop sugar challenge. This series gets such great reviews! 2h

#1/2 Ladies and gentlemen the books have arrived and they are amazing!!! As my friends you are getting the very first look at my first paper publication for my reviews! I also just noticed that the tagline for the Disappearing Act and for Crimival are also my own words.

Thank you so much RL Walker for this amazing honor. I am so blessed to have you in my life.

Weekly Check-in #1 for #BookFitnessChallenge #BFC @wanderinglynn - I exceeded my fitness goal of walking 4 days a week, and I am ahead on my goal of finishing 12 books, having finished 6 already. I'm loving this challenge, it's been the perfect way to keep my spirits up as I recover from gum graft surgery on May 10! I love following all y'all's journeys and sharing words of encouragement with each other. ❤️ 230 points this week, 256 total points.

wanderinglynn Way to go! 🙌🏻 3d
BookwormAHN Great job 👏🏻 3d
Caterina @wanderinglynn Thank you! It's amazing how much this challenge has motivated me, it's been perfect in every way. I'm reading more, walking more, and interacting with lovely Littens more than I have in a long time. Thank you for making the challenge. ❤️ 3d

Caterina @Megabooks Thank you! Silly me, I've been trying to talk, and now I'm very sore and back to ice packs and Tylenol. 😅 But I'm going to be stricter about not talking and I'll get back to doing just fine again I'm sure! 😊 3d
BarbaraJean Great first week!! 👏🏼🎉 3d
Megabooks @Caterina On the upside, you have beautiful handwriting, so I‘m sure people would appreciate notes!! 👍🏻👍🏻 Mine‘s a mess! 😂😂😂 3d

I got to see Once last night and it was incredible. Support your local theater! There's some amazing talent out there.

Palimpsest Loved this film! Wish I was could find a local production on stage. 3d
mom2bugnbee Yay for local theatre! My family practically lives at several of ours (hubby & daughter #2 on stage, me & daughter #1 in the audience) - no place we'd rather be! 🎭 3d

How to Adult | Stephen Wildish

1️⃣ The right and ability of not giving a fuck.
2️⃣ Dealing with increasingly cognitively challenged parents
3️⃣ Not much, tbh. My childhood wasn't particularly happy.
4️⃣ Depending on how you define adult, museum docent or research assistant.
5️⃣ No one cares what you eat in your own house or anywhere (i.e. the opposite of what my mother thinks)

1. I work in the Finance department for a health insurer. Not exactly a great place for book recs 😂
2. Yes
3. The last one I read was Girl, Wash Your Face. Not sure it taught me anything new, but definitely needed reminding about getting stress under control
4. I actually have one right now. I started Lolita 2 years ago and…😳 I‘d still like to finish but man that‘s a slow go for me

Littens! I need help deciding what book to read next. I'm going to finish my current one tomorrow, and I want to read a good, immersive story next.

I've heard good things about all 4, so please vote for your favorite and I'll read the one with the most votes once I finish my current book. 🤓📚

Texreader News of the World. Definitely in my top ten as soon as I read it. 7d

MrT Less. Found it a difficult read as style all over the place but ast least it was short. Award winning? Really. I would leave that for another day. Go for No 1 LDA. 6d
jmtrivera I loved No. 1 Ladies! 6d
Lucas.Rencher It looks like News of the World is winning! 6d

Mehso-so

I think this author may just not be for me. While I really got into the writing style and the word choices, I just felt like not enough happened. I guess I like my mysteries to be a little... grittier? Higher stakes? There was nothing remotely mysterious (or in my mind interesting) about the 3 crimes this police department solved. It all just seemed a little too “lite.” Though again, charming writing.

Tamra He is a very charming writer. It this series is like #1 Ladies, it will be about the characters‘ development over time. He is a palette cleanser read for me. 7d
