I love book 1, like book 2 and honestly suffer through book 3. Shame she couldn't have put the thought and effort into 2 and 3 (especially 3) that she did into 1. I know they're supposed to be easy beach reads but, come on. I won't say any more so I don't have to set a spoiler alert. 🙄

Quirkybookworm I have book 3. I did not know it was a series until I started to read it. I had to set it aside so I can get the first 2 when I get around to it!😳 6y
tammysue I read book 3 then went back and read the others. I own but haven‘t read Lowcountry Wedding yet. I enjoyed this series but absolutely love The Beach House series!! Still working on getting them all read. 👍🏻🐢 6y
jbhops @whatshesreadingnow I haven't read any of her other books! 6y

This summer has been full of surprises and vacations. I've traveled a lot for work and for play with the family. And in all that traveling time, I have read. A LOT. We drove to Florida from NC to visit the mouse and we flew cross country to visit my brother and his family. It's been an amazing adventure for our family of 3, as we wait to become a family of 4. My list of books won't fit in here so, to the comments we go.

1. Driving. Always driving.
2. Overdrive (library)
3. Sped up. Not a lot but enough so it's not a slog.
4. My favorite narrator is typically the author.
5. Nope. 😂

The tagged book is my current audio book.

Jess7 Yay! #overdrive and #libraries! I absolutely love listening to #audiobooks using overdrive! I simply refuse to purchase an audiobook bc it‘s just one of those things I‘ll never re listen to and overdrive is a great solution! 6y
Jess7 I also have listened to a free #audible audiobook from Kaye (thanks @Kaye for sharing again by the way) but having now used both - I do very much prefer the way overdrive‘s set up to audible. 6y
Kaye @jess7 no problem on the free book. I don‘t mind a bit. The price of audiobooks is a killer for me too but I do relisten a lot. Let‘s just say I need to keep my brain occupied continually so audiobooks help that a lot. I know it‘s cheaper from the library so it‘s a constant battle for me of whether to keep an Audible account or not. I change my mind a lot about it. 🤔 6y
jbhops @Jess7 yeah, I have a hard time buying audio books. I also will never listen to the same one again. Overdrive is so easy! 6y
