Lcsmcat I loved the Fowler. 3d
Megabooks @Lcsmcat I read and loved it when it came out, but I‘ve never listened to the audiobook. I‘m hoping I enjoy it! 3d
CoverToCoverGirl I know, audible is at it again, can‘t decide what ones I like to get.. 3d
Megabooks @CoverToCoverGirl I tend to make rash choices with possible regret 😂😂 3d

My first free #Audible listen courteously supplied by the author and #AudiobookBoom for an honest and unbiased review. Can‘t wait to start!

#Audiobook
#ARC

It‘s about the turbulent Irish history between 1916 - 1925, especially focused on the 1916 Easter Rising.

Tamra Great cover! 5d
JaclynW I can't wait to here what you think. The topic is of interest to me. 5d

I keep going back and forth between 3 & 4 stars for this one. It was cute and fun but I‘m not sure it‘s one I‘ll remember for long. Let‘s go with ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for being fun, quick and sweet. 😁 #romantsy #audible #kindleunlimited

This may be a new top five favorite book!

It is a wonderful commentary on modern society and how women must be “figured out” and fit in the role of being a wife/mother OR a high-achieving career woman.

For the MC, her friends, family & coworkers all can‘t figure out why she‘s thirty-six, unmarried, no children & has a dead-end job. Spoiler alert: It‘s because she doesn‘t owe it to them to be “figured out.” ✊🏻 This book speaks to me!

wanderinglynn Great review! I‘m definitely going to have to read this book. Stacked! 5d
Megabooks @wanderinglynn Thank you! I hope you enjoy it! 5d

marleed I read it this week too and loved it. 5d
Megabooks @marleed Awesome 😊 5d
Caterina Loved this book!!! ❤ And yay you're crushing your book goal! 5d
rubyslippersreads I‘ve been wanting to read this one since @batsy recommended it. 5d
Megabooks @Caterina Thanks! I made it when things were worse in my life, and now that things are better, I wish I had made a larger one! 5d
Megabooks @rubyslippersreads It‘s really good. I was surprised. 5d
batsy It spoke to me, as well. A most intriguing book, though I also felt the underlying darkness/sadness. Great review! @rubyslippersreads 5d
Megabooks @batsy It makes me want to read more Japanese fiction! And thank you 😊 5d
Cinfhen I just found this book so sad. It was too much dark humor for my personal taste. 5d
Megabooks @Cinfhen That‘s interesting because I found the message hopeful. As a single, childfree 39 year old who has worked a lot of different jobs, I like that she resisted trying to be pigeonholed by family and friends just to fit in. She was true to herself in the end. 5d
Cinfhen That‘s a great way to describe her and I see where you are coming from. I guess I was put off by the repetitive talk of “being normal” and “not normal” I found it painful in a way. Maybe it was in the translation that I took it too literal. I would try this author again. 5d
Megabooks @Cinfhen Me too. And I want to read more Japanese fiction. I have this one on #audible. I think it‘s on #hoopla (edited) 5d
Cinfhen I‘ll look for it ~ thanks 😘 5d
wanderinglynn How are you doing on your fitness goal? I haven't seen any recent #BFC posts as to the fitness goal and I wanted to make sure you're moving along with us. You can adapt or change your goal if you need to. Several others have had to change their goal because sometimes life happens. #nooneleftbehind 3d

I‘m on a mission to finish all the books I‘ve started and this one is now checked off that list! Finished this #audiobook this morning. It was good, but not as funny as I expected. His tone is so dry and lacks any inflection that it become a bit monotonous to listen to after a while. He‘s completely self deprecating and some of his stories were entertaining though. 3/5 ⭐️ // #memoir #audible #nonfiction #davidspade

Litsy won't seem to let me add The Gifts of Imperfect Parenting since the title is so similar to Brene's original book. No biggie. This was a short one I picked up during the #audible Mother's Day sale. I'm really liking Brene's work so far and I'm looking forward to reading more from her. I've watched pieces of her Netflix special and I swear, at certain points, I felt she was talking about me! #parenting #selfhelp

jenniferajanes I watched the Netflix special. It was wonderful! 6d
