Happy Friday! tonight‘s spooky movie was Wes craven presents: Dracula 2000 (i didn‘t end up liking this one it was bit too strange and cheesy for me.)
Total 2 points
Between moving and having to work nonstop lately I haven't been able to get anything done. My snail mail has been terribly neglected (promise I haven't forgotten you #poutinepenpals) and my apartment is a mess. But the healing power of Luna on my lap, a good audiobook, and a half hour session with my vitamin D lamp before my nightshift is pretty perfect right now 😻🎧☀️ #catsoflitsy
Hey #TeamSlaughter - I‘m working today, so I won‘t be able to reply to any comments or track points until later tonight. Here‘s another fun activity if you‘re interested in getting in another participation point. 😉

September wasn‘t a great reading month. I‘ve been in and out of depression since having to put Hermione to sleep and it started getting hard to concentrate on my books. I finished the rest of A Dance with Dragons and made it through the two shorter novels and then started watching a lot of TV. I just started getting out of my reading funk so I‘m hoping to get more reading done for October.

Our new #litereads pick is Sweetmeats by Linda Cheng, chosen with the Halloween season in mind. This modern day, horror-tinged, YA fairy tale can be read online for free, and you can find the link in my full article below. Give this story a read and let us know what you think!

Joaquin Phoenix was outstanding as Joker!! His dancing and laughing was chilling.
I saw it yesterday and I‘m still thinking about it. Still talking about it. An incredibly dark movie. No superheroes in this one. Think hard before taking your young person to see it. I want to see it again while it‘s at the theater.

WHOA WHOA WHOA!!! Just hit a huge milestone. I had no idea I was even close to 200,000. I have to thank this lovely community bc I love it so much and you guys are the best ❤
Not sure if I could not sleep last night so I started this book OR if I could not sleep because I started this book! Undead prophets, changelings, hella creepy toddlers, and zombies 👀
I really enjoyed this! I am defiantly going to read some of his other titles. This book is #notinthedatabaseyet
I have nightmares about being in caves and having to go through small spaces where I get stuck and suffocate all the time.
If I‘m extremely high up I get vertigo and get paranoid of falling.
Im scared before I have to speak publicly but not during, weird right?
Not all clowns, just horror clowns
Mass Shooting happened recently in Odessa(home) and has messed with my head.
What if I can still feel?
Whew! I am SO glad I saw this in time! I've been stalking the hashtag to make sure I didn't miss out like I did Round 6 lol. These fill up fast! Literary Fic was full, but it worked out perfectly b/c I slid into the last spot for #GroupC AND #GroupI (Classics & Int'l Translation) which will stretch me but are right up my alley! There are still some groups available! #LMPBC #Round7 https://m.signupgenius.com/#!/showSignUp/5080444aead2ca0ff2-l...
Thanks for the tag @Stacypatrice ! I am a day behind but I guess better late than never.
💙 Recent photo of the little sharing a book with his school! I love his excitement!
💛 Brew a cup of tea and read or watch a movie with the family and knit
🏡 We are leaving for vacation in the woods of Michigan! So many books packed and ready!
I signed up for another round of #lmpbc Group K because I‘ve been having so much fun with MG lately!
There are still spots left in lots of the groups if anyone wants to join Round 7.

My reading wrap up for the month of September 2019. 9 books, all of them were pretty good. Repair to her Grave and Big Little Lies were my favorite. The Traveling Vampire Show was my least favorite.
The Giller shortlist. I have read exactly none of them. I might have to fix that.
I just went to the Bahamas alone(with books) as a gift from my mom for my 30th, to reflect and try and find myself mentally, I had such a good time and am blessed to have been given that opportunity. So why does my Borderline personality disorder destroy me since I‘ve been home.... when I close my Eyes I am back at the waters edge, listening to the waves crash to the shore, and all I want to do is let them wash it all away. #mentalhealthawareness
Getting a referral to an allergist. Not seeing my own doc, he's out of the country, but the one who is covering for him. There's that. Have not read at all these past few days. Too exhausted. I can't think straight.
I miss you gang! 😘😘😘😘
So even though it's #Pulitzer month here, I thought I'd save The Underground Railroad (Fiction, 2017), which I bought last Friday, for February since September is almost over. But it's also the *shortest* of my currently unread Pulitzer books, so…
Still in the ER. Triaged and under observation in a chair, because I'm conscious and a lot of other people are not. Now thinking how the hell I'm going to go home, since I got sick at work and home is in a city 2h away. I must be getting a little better because I want to start typing impolite words.
Oh, look! I ate a fruit bar! Sh*t.
I‘m not one to be overly critical where books are concerned as I tend to be good at choosing things I‘ll like and persistent enough to finish them. Not so with this one! The grammar and punctuation aren‘t the best, however this is a minor issue compared to the content, which is absolute BS. I‘m no particular fan of the BBC, but this author‘s writing smacks of tin foil hat syndrome. The tipping point for me was when he referred to the perpetrator..
Thank you everyone for your well-wishes. I love you. 😘😘😘
Home from ER. Turns out I am allergic to wasps. I did not get anaphylaxis, but my symptoms indicated that the next one WILL be anaphylaxis, so I am to carry an epipen from now one. Because an allergy to wasps is often related to one to shellfish and tree nuts, I am to avoid those from now on. Shellfish have often given me nausea and vomiting in the past, it's a bad sign. Exhausted.
