I love to revisit a favorite series. Even though the stories may not be amazing, I enjoy spending more time with the characters and in the world the author created.

Last book of the year and boy was it a slog! I loved the setting, and the quaint English village at Christmas was picturesque, but the story lost me. The 12 dates just seemed to drag on and on. I did read another book by this author earlier this year, and I loved it. This one was just not working for me.
Reading another 2023 holiday release. Nevermind the holiday books I own that have been on my TBR for years 👀
Dropped these off at the post office today! #holidaycardswap @LibrarianRyan Thanks again for hosting!
One of my favorite holiday traditions! I love doing this each year. Thanks @LibrarianRyan for hosting!

No guilt here! But, I love the FBI/US Attorney series by Julie James, and I've been dying to reread some of them. So I'm going with the first one. I'm a child of the 90s and love my 90s pop. I'm going with Say You'll Be Tgere by the Spice Girls. #titlesandtunes #guiltypleasure @Cinfhen @BarbaraBB
This was #53 for #Roll100. I finished it about a week ago. I really enjoyed it, especially after reading Trespasses so recently. It reminded me of Derry Girls because of the ages of the main characters, but that's probably the only similarity. The language was much more coarse, and the everyday difficulties of these girls were more difficult.
@PuddleJumper
Two of my March #roll100 titles. My first TJR books. Loved Evelyn Hugo. Daisy Jones, however, did not work for me. Great concept, but it lacked in authenticity.
Working on my last one for the month, Factory Girls.
@PuddleJumper
I finished this, but I haven't had a chance to get to the post office. I will this weekend! I think some of the author's ideas were really good, but they never became as fleshed out as I had hoped. I did enjoy reading it, and the cover is spot-on for the neon noir concept, which I enjoyed. Thanks for sharing, Kristin!
I really enjoyed this round and everyone's picks! Thanks @Johanna414 @kellyann28 @Readergrrl
A big improvement over the Bareknuckle Bastards series. Not my favorite MacLean, but enjoyable. Listened to this for February #Roll100. @PuddleJumper
So some how when I did my #Roll100 I skipped over numbers 36, 42, and 43 🤪. So I'm picking some other books that are close to the numbers. It works out well since I really want to read Daisy Jones before I see the series. My February list isn't going so well, but I think I may be able to knock off just one, for now. Thanks @PuddleJumper for the new numbers!
It's hard to find two things I love more in pop culture than The Beatles and James Bond, so imagine my excitement when I come across thos book that bri gs the both together. I can't wait to dive in.
99% of the time, I dont like the movie version of book covers. I think they should leave well enough alone. I'm not even crazy about the "stickers" they put on that say "Soon to be a movie" etc. ? Anybody else feel the same? ?
Starting this one today! I still have to mail mine out, hopefully I'll get it in the mail on Friday. Dies the bookmark belong to anyone or does it stay with the book? @Johanna414 @Readergrrl @kellyann28 #lmpbc
Here are me #Roll100 picks. I'll be doing Heartbreaker as an audio. I'll be glad to get PT-109 off my physical shelf and Practical Magic is on my Kindle, so I've got a nice mix of formats this month.
@PuddleJumper
And with Bombshells finished, I've completed #Roll100 for January. Looking forward to February's numbers!
@PuddleJumper
A lovely book. I think it's interesting how each of the books I've read for #lmpbc so far have involved found families to one extent or another. Looking forward to the last one! I'll send this off this week @Johanna414 @kellyann28 @Readergrrl
#Roll100 #96 I gave this a pick because the stories were fun and a nice diversion. However, I'm a little disappointed because I expected a book with a bonus story but essentially got two novellas. Oh well, off my list! @PuddleJumper
Well, that's one way to kick off #Roll100. I absolutely devoured this book. Just an incredible roller coaster of a story. @PuddleJumper
Trying to work on my #TBR this year. I think #Roll100 will be a big help. My first three books are the tagged one, Educated, and Bombshells. Good variety for me. Looking forward to upcoming rolls @PuddleJumper
Mission accomplished! Last book of the year, and it was fantastic. Very pleased with my reading this year, too ☺️ I don't think I've ever read this many books.
Trying to squeeze in the tagged book as my final book for 2022. My app says I've got 2 1/2 hours left.
A day late, but wrapped up #acaroladay before the end of Christmas. So glad I got to read this this year! Thanks @Linsy for hosting! 😊❄️🎄
Not from the version I'm reading, but from Volume Two of the tagged book which I've had for over 30 years 😳. But the scene is from today's stave. I watched A Muppet Christmas Carol, too. #Caroladay
The two versions of A Christmas Carol I have. I love beautiful looking books like these. Looking forward the #acaroladay buddy read @Linsy 😊
Apparently, it's International Tea Day today. Enjoying some Irish Breakfast in my newest Christmas mug with one of my current reads.😊🫖
Sending these out today! I'm a bit late, and I need a few more stamps, but I'll be sending the rest out soon! #holidaycardswap
Look what came today! Perfect timing, as I just finished up my book and I will send it on Monday hopefully. #lmpbc @Readergrrl @kellyann28 @Johanna414
My plans for the day. Books, comics, and lots of tea. #lmpbc #sundaybuddyread
This was awesome! New twists on old origins, a twist in practically every issue. Great artwork. Overall a really fun concept and I can't wait to read more.
One of my favorite holiday traditions! Can't wait to start sending out cards. @LibrarianRyan #cardswap
Absolutely loved this! ? Even better than The Ex Hex. I love Sterling's writing. Even though the story is predictable she tends to skirt around annoying tropes making and avoiding "the big miss" in a fresh way. I definitely see myself re-reading these books. Love Graves Glen and especially love Sir Purrcival! Can't wait to read more.
@kellyann28 @Johanna414 @Readergrrl
Here are the books I'm thinking about.
????? "...an android who runs on tea and disdain" what a great insult! I love this series.
Settling in for a rainy weekend. Bring it on.
@ShyBookOwl thanks for the tag!
1. Elizabeth Taylor: The Grit and Glamour of an Icon
2. Tagged! I love Seven Games. It was a fascinating history of popular games and AI.
3. Shennandoah Calley, VA; Daytona Beach, FL; Sanibel/Captiva, FL.
@aroc tag!
@Eggs
#wondrouswednesday
Thos weekend's book haul! Lots of books for the beach and some others that have been on my list to own. #bookhaul
And now for something completely different...
Enjoying the morning even if I'm not enjoying my book. I'm too far along to stop, but the romance in this really bothers me. It's just not done well. 😕
Even though I finished the book today, I'm still considering #marvelousmarch a success for me. Thanks for hosting @Andrew65 ! Looking for to ne t month.
Tagged was a soft pick. Fun moments but somethings started to bother me by the end. Continuing my romance binge with th pictured.
Late to posting, but I hope to finish 2 books for the #marvelousmarch #redaction.
Loving the tagged one right now.
