I need a quick book to listen to while driving & running errands since I finished the section of Nobody‘s Girl for #SheSaid & had this one off of Audible Originals I ended up getting caught up in it, well narrated by Samira Wiley. Dystopian & set in a future where women must be licensed to give birth & where baby libraries exist where they can “check out” an infant, it tells the story of 3 women. It would make a great book or movie.
pick12 yo Cammie O'Reilly lives at the Hancock County Prison--not as a prisoner, she's the warden's daughter. She needs a mom - her own mom saved baby Cammie from a collision with the milk truck, but died in the process. Heartful and rich.

pick2/120 Taking place between the original series 5 year mission and the first Star Trek movie, it covers what happens to Kirk, Spock & McCoy as they go their separate ways from the Enterprise. Uhura plays a small part in the story, but I was disappointed there was no Scotty, Checkov and Sulu in the story. Also, did the author have to shoehorn in a romance for Kirk? It adds nothing to the overall story. I guess, even in the 23rd Century, men and ⬇️
