I wasn‘t able to keep up with the #12BooksOf2025 😅so here‘s a smattering of some favorite reads. I completed 104/100 for 2025.

My Goodreads and StoryGraph wrap ups differ on some of the details. But SG is what matches closest to mine.

Speaking of challenges that were stressing me at the end of the year. Here is part 2 of my #25in25
At the end of the year I only read 20 which is fine. I‘ll throw the other 5 back on the TBR to be read some other time.

While I still read a lot in 2025, this was the lowest number since 2014. I think I DNFed more than I have ever before though, lol.
Hopefully, I will read a few more books in 2026 or pages as I have some chunksters I want to attempt. I‘m not setting a book goal this year either.

It was a satisfying reading year! (Top reads in a separate post)
A few things I like to track:
Nonfiction - 73
Fiction - 112
Library Books - 112

2025 Wrap up!
199 books
64,373 pages
My most read author was Martha Wells (4) followed closely by (3) Sally Rooney, Patricia Highsmith and Edouard Louis

I finished my last book at 11:40 pm on New Year‘s Eve!
Hoping for another wonderful reading year in 2026!

I can‘t put this on a single slide so you can actually see all the titles so part 2 of 2.
I‘ve been slacking on my #25in25 list so for #HauntedShelf I‘m going to focus on getting this caught up. Right now I‘m at 8/25 can‘t wait to see if I can crush the list this October.

Just a little stack of series books I pulled from my TBR. I‘m hoping to get through these this year.

@Andrew65 @TheSpineView

These are the main series I am targeting for #SeriesLove2025
2 of them are new series, but the other 6 I am midway through. I aim to finish 5 or 6 of these series in 2025. I‘m aiming for a more focused approach this year. Last year I was too scattergun.
For each series these are the next books in the series for me.
@TheSpineView

Getting ready.

Tell me what books are you most looking forward to comig out in 2025?
I am exited for:
The River Has Roots by Amal El-Mohtar
The Buffalo Hunter Hunter by Stephen Graham Jones
Stag Dance by Torrey Peters
Water Moon by Samantha Sotto Yambao
We Could Be Rats by Emily R. Austin
Death of the Author by Nnedi Okorafor
Don't Sleep with the Dead by Nghi Vo

✔In connection with war, a novel entitled “2025“ was released, and it is about the survival of one‘s life as the world turns to chaos. This novel is truly brilliant and the best action novels as storylines never fail to make readers feel the thrill.
