Having a mini readathon this weekend for myself. Hoping to finish Mortal Engines, along with my other library books. 📚
Lara Jean is having the BEST senior year of high school. She has her class trip to NYC to forward to, prom with her perfect boyfriend, Peter, Beach Week with friends after graduation, and her dads wedding. Then it is off to college with Peter in the Fall. Life couldn‘t be more perfect! That is until Lara Jean gets some unexpected news.
Oh how I loved this series...first loves 🥰 all the feels 🤗
Five strangers walk into detention and only four walk out alive. All four are suspect, and they each have something to hide. This really is a combination of The Breakfast Club meets Pretty Little Liars!
“A queen on the throne, two on their way home, and an unexpected renegade who‘s gone to ground...the crown has been won, but these queens are far from done.”
With the fury of the dead queens beneath her skin, Katherine‘s time has come to take the throne and role. But there trouble lays ahead when bodies mysteriously begin to wash ashore, throwing the island into a panic.
The third installment of The Raven Cycle. For the first time in Blue‘s life she has friends that she can trust, a group in which she belongs too. The Raven Boys have taken her under their wings. Make her problems, their problems, and vice versa. But sometimes your friends can mislead you and certainties can unravel.
New day. New #audibook. Also a good reminder. Have a great day everyone!
Azalea has it all before her—beautiful gowns, handsome suitors, balls filled with dancing—then it‘s all taken away and Azalea feels trapped. The Keeper understands, because he is trapped, too. Trapped within the walls of the palace. The Keeper extends Azalea and her eleven sisters an invitation to step through an enchanted passage in their room to dance in the silver forest, but there is a cost. A retelling of The Twelve Dancing Princesses. 3.5 ✨
Dinner and a new #audiobook 😋
What I loved about this series is the fact that they were all nice light reads. They reminded me a lot of the Batchelor, except with prince and princesses. 👸🏻🤴🏼
“Sarai has lived and breathed nightmares since she was six years old. She believed she knew every horror and was beyond surprise. She was wrong.”
I was worried that I wouldn‘t love the second book as much as I did the first...I was wrong. The second book made me think of first loves and gave me all the feels. 🥰
I wish that this week/weekend was dedicated to more reading. But it is finals week, which means I needed to complete 2 papers. Happy to report that they are done!! My reading partner is happy that they are done so that we can get back to reading 📖
“35 suitors. 1 princess. A new selection has begun”
I found this book in the series to be so-so. This book takes place twenty years after the last book took place. Now it is America‘s and Macon‘s daughter, Eadlyn‘s turn to go through the Selection. I found Eadlyn to be bratty, but did like her at times independent nature. Let‘s see how the series ends.
