Escapist reading for me. I like the main character Joe . I‘ve read a few about him now. This was an ok book but I didn‘t like the ending at all.

It‘s been a LONG time since I‘ve read a book that was actually hard to put down. I found myself sneaking little peeks whenever I could - which is easy today when it‘s a kindle book and you have the app on your phone 🤣. This was so disturbing, mainly because you know from the very beginning who the “baddy” is and you‘re just waiting for everyone else to figure it out! It‘s also got short chapters which I love! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Mehso-so

Only 3 out of 5 stars for me. Close to a pan because I mostly hate-read this book. I think this is overhyped and that I‘m just not a Hoover fan. It had an explosive start that hooked me in the beginning then drifted off into over the top raunchy sex scenes that I found more horrifying and annoying than even the least bit romantic. But this turned into a so-so instead of a pan because the ending had a nice twist to it. Meh 🤷🏾‍♀️

Yet another book that had been sitting on my shelf and judging me for a while, as I bought and read other books, but I did it! Did it take finding out there was going to be a movie to buckle down and read it? Yes. Overall, it kept me guessing, but it didn‘t grab my attention until almost 100 pages into it. Did I particularly like any of the characters? No. I don‘t know that I‘d read another book of hers, but this lil‘ thriller wasn‘t too shabby.
