Definitely one of the better Jack Reacher short stories in my opinion. Whereas a lot of them so far have felt pointless to the overall larger plot, this one fits in well to the back story.

It's always nice to see Reacher in uniform and see snippets of his military days and this book delivered that.

Three stars.

The Trapped Girl | Robert Dugoni

I really didn‘t want to start a new series, but I love Tracy Crosswhite. She‘s a real badasss! Dugoni writes a great detective novel. He also wrote a moving stand- alone:
The Extraordinary Life of Sam Hell 💙💜💙

🎧 Book 2 - just as good as book 1.

Gwen has saved her kids from their serial killer dad. He‘s in jail but his psychotic followers are on the loose & now so is he.

The son who never knew his dad is contacted by him and is torn between telling his mom & wanting to believe his dad.

Gwen leaves her kids & hunts the killer. The tables are turned. The twist is good. Only one of them will walk away alive.

Book 3 is on my June TBR.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2

WorldsOkayestStepMom I loved this entire series! It was so well written. 1d
Twainy @WorldsOkayestStepMom I‘m sad that I waited so long to read this! So far I‘m enjoying it! I‘ve got so many series/trilogies that I‘m chipping away at monthly. This is a fun one!! I love books where you‘re yelling at the characters … NOOOOO. And that son made me swear several times. LOL 1d

Today‘s Prompt: INCARCERATION

PSYCHOLOGICAL THRILLER - MYSTERY

You can't wear that, I saw you smiling at that man, you don't need to leave the house.

If you enjoy suspense and edge-of-your seat tension, NEVER LET YOU GO is a book you don't want to miss.

Pickpick

For a book that is filled with characters struggling to make it through life, hard core brutality, and greed, Brian Panowich delivers a beautiful story about love and loss. Panowich writes about people, places, and circumstances that are real. There are no healthy families living in pretty houses with white picket fences in his stories.

TLuvs I don't know why I keep trying Mystery/Thrillers, they just don't cut it for me. But, okay, so I was entertained. If I were a lover of this genré, I probably would have given this a 4 star. 2w
