pickI really need to reread The Gentle Art of Fortune Hunting; it isn't necessary for understanding/enjoying this book, but it'd have enhanced that last chapter at the very least.
I love Cassian. He really should've told Daizell the truth, but... they work it out, and he figures out how to be much more of a person. It's quite the journey.

pickThis seemed to take me forever to read. Not because it wasn't good, but I think I hit a reading slump, and I just did not have the mental capacity for even something like the simplicity of this. It was good. Cute. And a little dramatic. But it ended well #47-2025
October‘s #bookspin list is complete. I‘ve opted to just do one list this year, instead of the extra Spooky Season “bonus” board I had last year. I‘ve been trying to intentionally slow my reading this month, and I‘m not sure if I want to continue the slow, less pressured pace, or if I want to get more books read. 🤔
pickA fun read! There weren‘t as many choices as I would have liked, some of the section ended with no choice and lead to a flip the page and to another section. A bit silly at times with the action, it was more melodramatic! First time to read a choose your own romance story!
Well, we are less than a week away from OCTOBER! Generally, fall is my favorite but also my busiest season. Things also went a bit off the rails this month, so things have been bonus chaotic!! Hoping to get back on track in October (my birthday month!!). It is FINALLY raining (before this week we had gotten less than an inch altogether since July 29!) and we are excited to see what colors all our new trees are!!

pickOkay, I picked this up on a whim and it blew me away! Such a delightful, audacious, and sexy romp of a story!
What starts as mistaken identity leads to adventures in espionage and a fake relationship, as Lydia and Arthur try to track down his brother who has been posing as the Earl. As things heat up, the two are thrust out of their comfort zones and find comfort in each other. I loved both of their character arcs so much! And the audiobook was 🔥
