1997 Cooper‘s Run is a great setting. Like many a romance book I thought too much was written inside the MCs heads rather than enjoying their beautiful Vermont autumn. But the characters (including the dog) are all so likable so I‘ll give my grievance a pass. I can easily see this as a trilogy advancing the timeline 10-15 years with each installment so Emily then Brittany get their grown up stories.

Another great romance from Olivia Dade! I laughed out loud at some parts of the book and appreciate the reference to Jurassic Park at the end!

This was a cute witchy romance!

The premise is super fun. It‘s about two witches who fall in love during a spell casting reality show competition. The competition parts were very entertaining to read.

The romance aspect worked very well. The two leads, Penelope and Gil, made a great couple. I loved their dynamic and their chemistry.

For an inspirational fiction romance, I was a bit surprised by the quick and passionate kissing scenes. Don't get me wrong I know it's fine to kiss just not used to it (and neck, and earlobe kissing) in this genre. 🙃

Anyway, very cute but hard hitting self confidence theme that had me recommending it to additional readers that can relate.

MaggieCarr Side note: as a library staff member, I absolutely would not endorse the deep dive she does into customers reading histories in effort to match-make. 100% not okay! 3d

Cassie inherited her grandmother‘s cabin in Poppy Creek, CA. The will stipulates that before she becomes the official owner, Cassie must complete daily Christmas-themed tasks, as dictated by The Christmas Calendar. The town lawyer, Luke, must oversee the completion of the Christmas tasks. Of course, romance ensues.

It‘s heartwarming, it‘s filled with snow and Christmas. Nothing new here but I love these stories every single time I read them🎄⛄️

Setting aside for now. I may go back to it as I did purchase the ebook. However, age gap romance is not my favorite and the hero is not all that likable. I made it 46%. Is it worth me returning to?
