Loved this cozy read and its eccentric cast of characters. New life goal - move to a magical inn with my favorite friends and family. Generous servings of tea and cake required. Talking fox and undead rooster optional.

Sangdu Mandanna, a newer to me author, but I love her found family coziness with hope.

Part 2 of crafting...🎃🧙♀️
Since we are in a themed mood, everything is all about witches and pumpkins. Even though the weather is more like summer than autumn. It's November 2nd and we're still getting bitten by mosquitoes. We invented a game where vampires bite us...😆😆
Mine is right her is left.
Do you also do crafts with your children? Who uses scrapbooking?

Anne Rice built an entire universe of fear and gothic romance in her career and this epic of a book highlights everything she did well. I loved Part 2 of this novel with its historical narratives and point of view changes. Unfortunately, the story does not end on the final page, as a sequel promises to tell more. So be wary, dear reader, and only dive in if you plan to wander down the path of terror (I‘ll be waiting until next October to proceed).
