Super excited to read this. I now own three copies of The Wicked Deep so I'm hoping I love it just as much

I got this book recently and have been reading it in the evenings. It‘s perfectly spooky, but not a horror, just right for me! I am so fascinated by the way it is written too! Beautiful experience reading this!

It is cold. It is snowy. It is miserable and I am just done.
Ordering supper because I have no want to do anything but curl up with my blanket and start a new book.

Happy Freaking Friday!

I looooved this book. I finished it in a week. It was a bit Twilighty in a certain spots but overall I am absolutely pumped to read the other books in the series.

In that undecided state of trying to find the right book. I‘ve been sick for over two weeks and am feeling stir crazy. Will this be the right escape? Stay tuned!!

This book was so, so very close to being a Bail. Within the first 30 pages, I hated all the characters and really just wanted to throw the book away and never have to look at it again. The way that Williams writes high schoolers was just how old people thought high schoolers acted. The writing style was bad. If you use IDGAF, LOL, or IRL in your novel as things characters say or think, you‘re wrong. This book came out in 2019! I thought we were...

MsRadioSilence Past the “high schoolers are from the tech age so they talk like this!” bs. Besides that, the characters were super annoying, the magic rules were scant at best and nonexistent at worst, and when I finished it, my classmates cheered. It was awful, and I will not be reading the sequel. (edited) 1w

The first book of the year! Really good book, you won't be able to stop reading. Very original, the author adds a few ”spell recipes” that add a hint of magic to the book. This book doesn't feel rush at the end, something that I truly enjoyed. I fall in love with the energy between Nora and Oliver.

I need more of Shea Ernshaw‘s work. I knew to expect plot twists from her. At first I was disappointed because I guessed the first plot twist. Little did I know that wouldn‘t be the last.
