A strong finale to Sam & Abraham‘s story! I have always loved penny‘s Hypothesis series the best.

I‘m posting one book a day from my massive collection. No description, no reason for why I want to read it.

Penny is back in her hometown living with her grandmother and younger brother. She's just gotten out of an unhealthy relationship and is focusing on working on herself and spending time with her family. What she didn't expect is to get slowly and gently swept off her feet by one of the kindest romance heroes ever. Ryder grew up with an abusive father, who he now has to care for after a stroke left him incapacitated. (Cont.)

Out 7/29, this Persuasion retelling is one of the worst books I‘ve read this year. It is painfully repetitive. Most of it is just Anne or Frederick moaning about how they aren‘t worthy or agonizing about still loving the other person but knowing it‘s too late and the feelings aren‘t mutual (of course they are, idiots). It‘s so tedious I literally fell asleep 3 times. How dare they treat my favorite Austen novel this way. It‘s an abomination.
