Two days in a row of EA Poe. 🖤🐈‍⬛🖤

Someone's interested in my book haul on indie bookstore day. There's a couple more books not pictured since Seren was too busy inspecting the goods 😂. I was glad to finally get a copy of Diavola, which I've been wanting to read, was thrilled to grab a copy of book in the Firefly verse, and Catwings was too cute to resist. Plus I think the niblings will love it.

Absolutely loved this, just ridiculously fun. And fantastic audio reading by Wil Wheaton, as usual. Hyper intelligent cats, unionizing dolphins, bumbling villainous henchmen, what‘s not to love? Mad that I waited so long to read it.

Having brunch at a Ukrainian bakery with my #readathon buddy before we get down to reading. I finally lost enough weight to wear my book leggings again! I was listening to the tagged book on my drive over.

Didn‘t like the new lady cat. Even less of a plot. Yes, still cute.

Certainly cute but almost…awkward? Like it seemed sexualized somehow. Certainly highlights the ways in which cats are good for your health. No plot, really. Just cuteness overload.

A friend recommended this one to me, and I'm so glad they did. I had such a fun time reading this book. It was humorous, with some great action scenes and a whole cast of wacky characters.

I told someone it was like Hitchhiker's Guide, Ready Player One, and Hunger Games all mashed together to create a glorious, entertaining mess that you can't look away from once you start. 😁

I can't wait to start another adventure with Carl and Princess Donut.

1. Kili the unexpected kitten joined us in late August 2012. He was a tiny and scared little boy of indeterminate color, and he grew into a fluffy black cat who likes to sleep, eat, and watch the birds out the window.

Recommended by my best friend. This is a very entertaining book. I listened to the audio book, which I would definitely recommend. The story is unique and clever and humorous (albeit quite dark humor sometimes). Very much recommend for anyone interested in RPG video games or DnD-like games. A very fun listen! Highly recommend!
