pickI vowed I would not waste time reading if it was too similar to the current fairy fad. I can take morally gray men, but I can't take a person's control being taken from them.
That was the only thing I disliked. The mystery in this book was creepy and kept me hooked.

pickHad a week off of work last week and was able to get a lot of reading in! (Finished in July).
It took me a bit to get into this one, but eventually I did and read it in 2 days. A legendary tournament against different type of vampires and 1 human. This is the first book in the series. I‘ll continue it and see what happens after the 1st book!
pickDragon/shape-shifter smut. There's an okay plot to move the story along. A pick solely because I was entertained.
pickI really liked this book!! My favorite read of July. Silla is on the run and hides in a supply wagon for the blood axe crew. She must win over the crew and show her value. They go on a journey along the road of bones, fight a lot of different creatures and other crews. There is romance, betrayal and escaping tight places.
pickThoroughly enjoyed this. I ended up listening to the audiobook as I had a free Audible credit and wanted to sit outside.
pickWhat a good ending to this duology. I enjoyed this one more than the first! Rune and Gideon have to work together and trust each other but of course there are still tons of secrets and betrayals. Lots of twists and surprises. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My feelings on this book are mixed. I really like this fantasy world established in the previous book-though this goes into an entirely different direction. I like the lovable cast of characters and super cute dragons.
What I struggled with was the romance.⬇️
pickI liked this book a lot. In some ways it reminded me of the Court of Thorn and Roses series. I loved the characters and the layout of the book was great. I can't wait to read the next book. I rated the book a 3 out of 5 stars.
