The When the Moon Hatched | Sarah A. Parker

I just finished the entire Lux series, it‘s probably my favorite by the author Jennifer Armentrout. 💫
When The Moon 🌙 Hatched was also really good. I had to actually read it twice because it‘s a lot of world & character building. But it‘s a unique story which I always love a unique story. 🥰🩵 Happy Reading! 😃

I‘m posting one book a day from my massive collection. No description, no reason for why I want to read it.

Yes, i read this in a day. I discovered the fun that is youtube ambiance/Basgiath war college bedroom (dragons flying past window) I really think this author has promise- and wish there had been more background to the pieces of world building- I have no idea when the next two books are coming out so if you do not like cliffhangers hold off on this one!

I enjoyed this a lot in the end, though I only really settled into it today. I am agog at the developments at the end, and really want more of the story so we can get more of this slow burn.

Also, this was my #DoubleSpin and that's a blackout for #BookSpinBingo as well!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I mean, what a ride!
I did like book 1 more than this one - this had a lot of “how will they ever get out of this?!” moments and that sometimes can get a bit much for me, but I still loved the characters, loved the magic, loved the romance.
There were some twists I saw coming from the very beginning of the book, but then others that I didn‘t see coming at all, so that was a good balance, too.
This duology is one I definitely recommend!

Library books, dogs, a man who cooks superlatively - what's not to love?

Mercy is an undertaker's daughter, holding the fort till her brother can take over after his degree; Hart is a marshal keeping Tanria free of zombie-like drudges. From their 1st meeting they've hated each other but each feels lonely. Hart writes a letter to 'a friend' and sends it off into the ether. Mercy receives a mysterious letter and replies. Maybe ...
