Been under the weather for the last couple days and sleeping a lot. My last dream was about the #Litsylove group sending ourselves to each other instead of letters. I was in my delivery box and my recipient wouldn‘t accept me... The person kept telling the mailman to “Return her to sender!” ☹️📦📭 #returntosender

Sending out some #Litsylove letters today! Have more to write and a few #pemberlittensgopostal letters also. Hope to get them out this week. I go back to the library next week. Still part-time, but different than my pre-COVID hours. We‘re only open for curbside, but after about 5.5 months, I get to go back. They pushed me up to sooner than October! We‘ll see how long it lasts. Hopefully we can stay open limited hrs even with cases increasing.

Fridameetslucy So are the writers also creating the cards? How does this swap work? I sadly know less than 2 friends who write letters... but they love receiving those that I write to them. I guess for some people email and phone chats are equivalent. 6y

StillLookingForCarmenSanDiego @Fridameetslucy I suppose some might make their own, but these are regular notecards. This is just a casual pen pal group. You receive a list with the groups contact info and send whatever you like. A letter, notecard, postcard, gifts. 6y

There is also an international pen pal group ran by @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks called #LitsyLove. If you're interested either group is open for new members. 😊 Snail mail is a lost art for sure. 6y

LibrarianRyan Yeahhh. That letter took for ever to get there but I just mailed the valentines, go figure. And I just got notice from bookoutlet that one book was canceled. Maybe because I ordered it in hardcover? I‘m going to look. One book has shipped for sure and two show processing. I have never had this problem with book depository before. Is this common when you order? I am wondering if it‘s because of where it‘s being shipped? 6y

Cinfhen I know!!! The mail system here is really unpredictable! I‘m just so glad that they arrived and were delivered!!! I use BOOK DEPOSITORY all the time and I find they are really reliable on their end. It׳s the delivery that gets tricky sometime. But please DONT SEND MORE!!! You‘ve gifted me soooooo much 💝💝💝💝💝im beyond grateful🙏🏻you‘ve been so generous ~ I‘m overwhelmed and incredibly appreciative 💋💋💋💋 @LibrarianRyan 6y
