I don‘t know why I picked up this book. I didn‘t like The Woman In Cabin 10. The Death of Mrs. Westaway was too much of a slow unraveling for me. I skimmed parts. Although I liked Harriet! And the tarot cards parts were my favourite!!! But there was also a lot of repetitious introspection that I had little patience for. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ s #april2019read

I really enjoyed this book! In order to survive the harsh slums of Paris in the late 19th century, sisters Antoinette and Marie face harsh choices. It broke my heart at times. But it was also hopeful and I think a look at what women can overcome when we support each other. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️s #bookclubapril2019

Hustled my way through One Good Earl Deserves a Lover and am almost done No Good Duke! I love Sarah MacLean‘s writing. She‘s one of the best romance authors out there! Although luckily there are many talented authors in this genre and I shall never run out of great stories to read! #march2019

Put in a lot of miles in on the treadmill thanks to this book. The narrator does an excellent job with a great story. There are always a lot of characters to keep track of and keep straight, but somehow with this book it was easy. #february2019

I don‘t know if it‘s me, winter, a severe case of cabin fever, me being super picky, or the book. But...ugh. I just never got into it. There was no real chemistry between the two main characters, I didn‘t understand what happened at the end, there were unanswered questions, and...it just wasn‘t for me. #february2019

I‘m not sure about a romantic suspense which begins with the main male character kidnapping and terrorizing the main female character...😬 I shouldn‘t act surprised, after all I did read the blurb and I‘ve read other books by Brown. I enjoyed this book. I‘d give it a solid 3 ⭐️. I liked the characters (and there were quite a few), the glimpse into gaming culture, the magical element as well as a post apocalyptic subplot. That said, I didn‘t feel like I got enough of any of those things as there was so much going on. #february2019
