Just when I think Quinn‘s books can‘t get any better, I read another one and am proven wrong! I love how quirky the main characters were and I laughed out many times while reading the book! Also, all of the home alone references are super fun!

I will never look at chocolate covered cherries the same way again… #iykyk

The main characters are super awkward, but still a cute, spicy read. A lot (maybe too many) references to the candy cane scene from the first book. #IYKYK

Quinn was SO DAMNED FUNNY in person, I was excited to read this after not loving last year‘s Christmas romance, but while I liked this more, I need her to LAND THE FREAKING PLANE. These books do not need to be nearly 500 pages. Still fun, though. 🍿

December 20, 2025 Ooo a record for me! Finishing a book 5 days before Christmas. Of course I am one to count down the days. Christmas, after all, is my favorite time of year (e.g. music, family, friends, and just a magical time, am i right?) Anyway, like ALL her other books, Meghan is very good at what she does. She knows how to prolong events in a romance book but somehow the main characters tend to love each other. First friends then lovers 😍

December 19, 2025 Happy last day of school! Also, I am on page 367. Ooooooo my goshhhhhh Max is falling for Betty. I knew it I knew it I knew it lol Sorry no spoilers... Just here to say that I could tell Max did not only like Betty, he loves her too 😍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

December 16, 2025 It seems as if Betty is falling for Max (aka Atlas Maxheimer). Max seems to have found Bettys' soft spot. NOW he is thinking that he should stop trying to impress Betty, and instead work together with her in building a new farm. He doesnt want to take away her farm. He would rather help her and Uncle Dwight. He doesnt see her as an intruder anymore because he has mutual feelings towards her.

KU + afternoon coffee getting me through my Wednesday “mom uber” shift. 🚙 13 year old to strength training then 11 year old (almost 12!) to basketball practice. It‘s a lot, but I wouldn‘t trade it. ♥️♥️

Proud to say, I'm impressed. Then she saw my protective side. Saw how nice I was. Saw how I could take care of her. I held her hand at one poont. I was all over the place with the wooing, but the wooing happened. And it was great. She was into it.

December 4, 2025 Page 154 "And I dont want my brothers near you, and I just sort of lost it back there, so I'm sorry." Doesn't want his brothers near me? Attracted to me? Uh, that's one way to catch me completely off guard. Not sure how to really respond, I say, "It's... it's fine."

The tagged book was the pick for my in person book club last month. My sister really liked the first in the series so I decided to read it first. Well, I only got about 10% into both of them before bailing. The characters in Neighbor were sooo unlikeable. Filthy Animal was a little better but I think I'm just not a fan of Meghan Quinn's writing style. Every book I've tried of hers is just not for me.

December 1, 2025 Now it seems like Max and Betty, well maybe Max, has a crush on Betty (mainly because of her blue eyes. Her eyes were what made him instantly attracted to her in the first place. sigh I wonder if Max is going to calm down and not get on Betty's bad side...

Is there anything ether than a quiet house, reading my first holiday book of the season, in front of the tree with my dog? A lot to do today but enjoying some quiet time first.

November 29, 2025 continued... Max decides to have different scenarios around town where he meets up with Betty. That way, Betty will start to like him each time they meet one another and she wont be able to stop thinking about him. The plan is to have her get "all in with his sexy body" and start to fall in love with him. Thus will then lead to Max "winning her over".

November 29, 2025 OMG OMG OMG November is almost over! Like excuse me??! Where did the time go? my oh my 2025 has flown by from my POV. Anyway, so far, Betty and Max aka Atlas Maxheimer have finally crossed paths. Betty, Uncle Dwights' niece, who are the invaders, are wanting to create their own farm business next door and they are competing against Max and his family. Max is angry and upset. Betty doesnt like Max. Max has ideas 💭

My book haul from Black Friday shopping and from Goodwill during my first set of Christmas shopping. I‘m pretty happy with these selections. 🥰

November 27, 2025 Page 63-64 "This project, this farm you want to create, is it your form if revenge?" He sips his hot cocoa and then asks, "Would that be s probkem?" ... Sure, it's now clear that it's becausr he's seeking revenge on someone who has hurt him in the past, but it's still a lot more than anyone has done for me. And I can... skirt around the revenge a little.

November 27, 2025 continued --- He finds that the neighbor is actually quite smart and pretty. She is also nice and sweet. Max asks her name but does not share. She is a bit upset that he tried to trespass into their area. Will they start to see each other more OR will the so-called invader avoid seeing Max as much as possible?

November 27, 2025 Meghan Quinn has so many characters in her books! So far, Maxheimer, who is the youngest of the three siblings is put in charge by his dad to run the farm that they own. Meanwhile, while his parents are away in Europe, he comes upon a neighbor, aka "invaders", who want to take over the 30 acres of empty land next to their farm and he doesnt like the idea so he trepasses and decides to go over to the neighbors' house... Bad ??

You can‘t just read one Meghan Quinn Christmas themed book at the holidays…give me the short story too!! I was literally Lol‘ing and has me wanting to make my own popcorn garland🤣🤣🙈🙈
