4.5/5 - almost too many twists and turns…to the point of slight confusion. but that is probably a “me” problem. very good writing, great mysteries and well developed characters.

I loved this book, with flavor of “Our Town”. This is the story of Elmwood Springs, Missouri, from its foundation as a dream of its founder to its near death in present times. The characters are loveable, even in the hereafter. I couldn‘t stay away from the book.
Finishing up my vacation reads then tagged August #bookspin is next!

Wow! I understand all the buzz about this book. Beautifully written, this dark, twisty thriller had me riveted. I was so invested in these relationships, I loved the art and true crime elements, and the characters were just so real. There were upsetting elements so you may want to check content warnings. The audio narration is great, I highly recommend this powerful novel!
Everyone I know has loved this book, & it lived up to the hype. Beautifully crafted story with great twists.

I love Fannie Flagg books… they are like a hug in book form and this was no exception! It was so fun to follow a town and its residents from the founding to present day… if you need a light and easy read, this is the book for you!
Blimey 😳😳 🦷 🦷 that ending!
Super twisted and dark!
In need of a lighthearted one now 😂
This is one of those hooks that will left you broken and questioning life and you will recommend to others so they to can feel the pain. Loved Saint and she deserved so much more. I loved the different characters and the passing of time.
