Book 7 #cozyinthesun @Librarybelle @ferskner I read the first book in series years ago and loved it. Then I found out the publisher canceled the series after 3 books. But now the series has returned so I decided to read book 2. It is a great cozy series. I think I love the setting, a library in a lighthouse on the Outer Banks, and the librarian characters the best. Oh, and the library cat Charles of course.

Lea I loooooove this series 💖 1h

This story had plenty of moving parts, quirky characters, & the right amount of drama to make it an interesting cozy mystery. There were parts that felt slow to me, especially at the start where much was about Charlie‘s habit of being nosy & speculation about the personal lives of the professor & his wife, but it quickly picked up. It was a dramatic tale of the dark turns love can take but it was kept lighthearted by Charlie & his pal Diesel.

#CurrentlyReading #CozyInTheSun book #5. I'm about halfway through my stack of Witchcraft Mysteries. I have no delusions about winning this contest, but I'm loving that it's helping me get through some of the stacks of books I've been meaning to get to. I started this one last night, and I'm already 1/3 of the way through.

Librarybelle It definitely is a good opportunity to catch up on series! 6h

I read a few of the Michell and Markby books a long time ago, so when I saw this new one I couldn't resist. Most enjoyable. Book no. 3 for #CozyInTheSun

I read this book straight through. If you like The Woman In The Window or The Girl On The Train you will like this fast paced thriller. This is my first Sager and I will be getting the author‘s other books. Thanks for the Litsy mug @Litsy I love it and it will be featured in many of my photos. @Librarybelle @ferskner let me know if this counts for #cozyinthesun

brit91 Oh I love your cup!!😍💖📚 1d
Librarybelle I own a couple of Sager‘s novels, including this one, but haven‘t read them yet! Your review makes me want to read this very soon! From what I‘ve heard, Sager writes good fast-paced psychological thrillers, but I‘m not sure if they‘re really cozy...cozies have limited thriller episodes in them. I‘m intrigued by the comparison to Girl on the Train - l liked that book, though I really didn‘t think of that as a cozy. What do you think, @ferskner ? 21h
mdm139 @Librarybelle I think it is more of a thriller too, but saw someone else had posted about The Girl On The Train as cozy so I thought I would ask. 13h
mdm139 @Librarybelle I also like this book more than The Girl on the Train 13h
Librarybelle I had not seen the post about Girl on the Train, so sorry for the confusion! I am very intrigued about this one...I may have to reevaluate my reading for the readathon this weekend... 11h

Book 6 #cozyinthesun @Librarybelle @ferskner this is book 2 of the series. It is between a pick and so so for me. I think I would of liked it better if I had read the first book and if it had less characters. It was easy to put down but I kept going back to it and thinking about it. I would have also liked some more popcorn recipes since popcorn is my favorite snack and I love my local gourmet popcorn shop.

#cozyinthesun book 4 and #bfcr2 10/12. Been absent for a few days bc this weekend was crazy busy given I was traveling for work today. Read this on the plane to Tampa and thoroughly enjoyed it. Ghosts, a kick ass autistic kid, a blooming romance, and a not easily solved mystery. Check it out!

Librarybelle Sounds good! 1d
Avanders I‘d never even heard of this one! 😄 1d

No doubt this was a five star read for me! Rachel commutes to London every day passing by the same houses every morning and every evening. One day she sees something that might be useful for a police investigation... or maybe not ! #cozyinthesun #travelreads

ShyBookOwl I recently watched the movie. It was really good, but I haven't read the book. 2d
la_rose_noire @ShyBookOwl I am curious to see how the movie turned out! 2d

My husband and I finished the Beaton (fun — typical Hamish; but I didn‘t like the doctor nor the view of women presented in this particular book — the only acceptable woman seems to be a happy housewife) & the Butcher books on our way home. I finished the Gaiman one in bed tonight. Enjoyed them all. #cozyinthesun @Librarybelle @ferskner

I love this series set in 1975 Kansas City. The MC is an artist and a widow (details I book 1) who lives in the Country club district. It‘s probably got something to do with my age, but the details in these books are perfect and if murder can be fun, these are. #ReadingUSA2019 #Missouri #cozyinthesun

CarolynM These sound fun. I've just downloaded the first one, thanks. 2d
