Julie Mulhern writes a story full of charm and humor. She also takes on some serious topics. Topics that were hot in the 70s and still hot today. That is not to say she takes these issues lightly. She always strikes the right tone.

I love this series set in 1975 Kansas City. The MC is an artist and a widow (details I book 1) who lives in the Country club district. It‘s probably got something to do with my age, but the details in these books are perfect and if murder can be fun, these are. #ReadingUSA2019 #Missouri #cozyinthesun
