Bk5 for #JumpStart2020 was fantastic! Just as good as the 1st book in this series, this one follows the younger siblings of the MCs in that as well as their friends. The tension of not knowing who‘s behind it all is as high & the reveal at the end, though part was obvious by then, contains a shock as well. 5⭐️ #Booked2020 #FinishInADay #LitsyAtoZ2020 #LetterO #PopSugar20 #InvolvingSocialMedia #AntiAlphabetSoupChallenge #LetterA #WinterBookBingo👇👇

Starting the new year with this one. It satisfies #letterA for #litsyatoz and the January theme for #1wordtitle for #readwithmrbook. I‘ll have to get further along to see if it works with any other challenges. I read this author for the first time last year and it was my first 5-star read for 2019. So I have high hopes.

Bookzombie Starting off strong tackling those challenges! 🥳 Happy New Year! 3w

I really quite enjoyed the book, even though it took me 4 months to complete. Will likely be a favourite read for 2019. 5 ⭐️‘s #litsyatoz2019 #listsyatoz #lettera #a 4/26

This was truly a great read for me. I seldom read fantasy novels, but this one is amazing. A perfect winter read. Looking forward to reading the rest of this trilogy. #MountTBR #LitsyAtoZ #LetterA #ReadingUSA2019 #Vermont (where the author lives, according to the dust jacket)

⭐⭐⭐1/2
This was between a pick and a so-so for me. The first 2/3 really grabbed my attention and I didn't want to put it down. But then I tried to finish the last third and it felt monotonous and I couldn't wait for it to end. I preferred The Wife Between Us because of the twists and turns. This one was too uneventful, although still interesting in parts.

janeycanuck Interesting - I liked this one more than The Wife Between Us, the slow, steady build really worked for me. 12mo

What a weird little crime story!! It‘s not really a mystery, because you know who did the crime, but it‘s still very twisty (though not all of the twists were surprising). I‘m not 100% sure why the storyline with the daughter was there, and it kind of kept throwing me out of the atmosphere of the main story. This was my translated book written by a woman for @bookriot #ReadHarder and my #LetterA for #LitsyAtoZ (in translation)

I loved this! Auntie Poldi moves to Sicily and finds a new life solving a murder. The story is narrated by her unnamed nephew and I loved that too! If you need a book in translation for a challenge, this is a fun read. #LitsyAtoZ #LetterA

catebutler I‘ve seen these floating around and have always been drawn to them, but after your review, I think I definitely want to pick one up! It is a series, correct? (edited) 12mo

One's set to assassinate Elizabeth I and the other's set to stop it. This stand-alone historical fiction YA novel sets up at The Globe Theater with the plot of the Bard's Twelfth Night being played out on the stage and echoed in reality. Picked this up because of the time period and the allusions to intelligencers.
