Had to go with this #dead title for today‘s challenge as it is my favorite in the Sookie Stackhouse series & I am rewatching True Blood for #Scarathlon2022 & am currently at Season 4 where Eric loses his memory & Sookie protects him. A vulnerable Eric Northman (#TeamEric) is an irresistible (& very hot) Eric Northman.

I 💚 Eric. This might be one of my favorite books in the series. Once I start one of these books, I don‘t want to stop listening.

Really enjoying my reread of this series.

Finished this Audiobook yesterday so I would be ready for todays new Chronicles of St Mary's. Also because I was really enjoying. So far I've been kinda meh about the series. But I really liked this one. My favorite so far. 🧛🏻‍♂️ #VampireBookClub

Red Wine & Spooky Vibes

This was a fast read. More supernatural creatures are introduced. I wonder where this story will go. There was almost nothing of Bill in this one.
Good enough for a quick book snack. Nothing too substantial. A low pick.

A low pick. I find I‘m not as enamored of this series this time around, but I‘m planning to get through it all and finish it out.

Sookie finds Eric lost in the woods with no idea who he is. Witches are running amok in Shreveport and Sookie gets sucked into the mess, as usual. Lots of interpersonal drama (Eric, Bill, Alcide, Sam, Calvin, and supporting characters). The Jason story falls by the wayside and has a too-quick yet obvious conclusion.

The book that made me solidly #TeamEric back in the day. When Sookie finds Eric & he has amnesia, he is downright adorable. Plus, I‘ll take any excuse to look at pics of Alexander Skarsgard as Eric Northman on True Blood 😍😘🤩😋

This is my favorite book in this series. I loved aeeing a different side to Eric and i liked the development of the relationship between Eric and Sookie.

I loved the parts with Eric in them and him being so child like, even in the TV series that was a great part.
Other parts of the book were just repeated bit from previous books which drove me crazy a bit.

Good installment

The novel where Eric finally grew on me!

Have had to put this one aside for awhile, really struggling to get through more than a chapter at a time! I already have the rest of the series and hope the rest are a more gripping read. Any words of advice? It doesn‘t help that I‘ve seen all of the tv version 🤷🏼‍♀️

I‘ve been flying through this reread! I love these books so much! I‘ve totally forgotten that. #4 is my fave since it‘s mostly Eric centered and I love me some Eric, not a Bill fan, at all!! I‘m already on #6 and should be done with the series within the month if I keep going at this rate!! 😍😍

I got new sheets and new pj‘s today and they came with socks!! They are so soft and have cute little cats ok them!! I‘m going to snuggle in them and read my book! Sounds like a perfect night!!

*WARNING* All these books are on the adult side as far as sexual content, but not over the top. I think this, the 4th book, is my favorite so far. 🤭

Maybe it‘s the change of seasons but I haven‘t been sleeping much lately. This is not a bother to me though as it just means more reading time & I get to enjoy some tea & chocolate. Where would I be in this world without books. They fill in all the gaps & I am rarely without one. I read everyday & I wish I could read more. I mainly read on my journey to & from work which is about an hour each way on public transport. A bus, train, bus then walk.

Sookie Stackhouse is my guilty pleasure. After 4 books, I haven't lost interest and I think the story just keeps better and better. Its like daytime drama! I haven't watched the show but I'm really thinking about it!

Kicking off #90sinJuly with Sookie. Dead to the World was one of my favorites in the series (but somehow I don't own it nor did I review it on Goodreads. 🙄) Anyway, in this one Eric loses his memory and lives with Sookie for a while. Not only is Eric #InsaneintheBrain during the book but his lack of memories from that time drive him nuts in future installments, too. I loved them together in this book and hoped for an HEA for them.

Eric Northman... not an actual prince, but a very powerful, important and definitely dark vampire. I loved this series up until the last few books.

I would also like to say that Alexander Skarsgård is nice to look at, but book Eric was so much hotter. ?

When I started reading the Sookie series, I got the first few books in these collection versions... 2 books in one. Economical, yes, and I enjoyed reading the books, but gosh are they ugly. 😂

I got all of the later books as they came out and their covers are adorable.
