When you have the day off and walk to your fav cafe to read for the morning. #lifegoals
Juno‘s getting a good smell off this super light read that I got from the free library down the street. The main story is excellent and reminds me of my love for Paris and all the other stories were short and sweet. Great summer read and I‘ll return it to the free library so someone else can enjoy.

My pretty girl with a pretty book. Another great read in the bibliophile mystery series. While the author isn‘t subtle with the bad guys, I still enjoyed the story. The appreciation of books is very comforting.

I didn‘t know a lot about Kirk as I never watched the original series but he was awfully tragic. It was nice to be in the trek world and I really enjoy this authors writing style but Picard/ TNG is #mystartrek

A little behind on my reviews...
I really tried with this one. I got about halfway through and realized I couldn‘t care less what would happen. The characters were just too depressing when they were kids and uninteresting when they got older. The pace and story just weren‘t working for me.
After our walkies, Juno and I finished this awesome read. Just a great story about the sisters (triplets) and how different their lives were and the struggles they all faced. Might be a little soap opera-y but maybe that‘s what made it so addictive. A great summer read!

Oh my goodness! What an amazing read! I could not put this book down. A great adventure for some amazing characters. I didn‘t realize the authors were married and had completed the Camino together. I found this book to be very inspirational. It‘s about finding what you didn‘t know was lost and making peace.
P.s. finished this after Juno had her bath.

Books + corgi = 💕
This book was alright. I like the characters but the story was kind of all over the place. The books in this series are nice and light reading which is exactly what I‘m looking for this Canada Day long weekend 🇨🇦

Another great cottage read and another great book by Ruth! I couldn‘t put this one down. My only complaint is that her twist was almost too twisty. I had to reread it a bit and I was still confused for awhile. Still good though.
What a bummer. I don‘t think I‘ve ever panned a cozy before. Usually, there‘s a chapter or two of buildup before the murder happens, but this one happened within the first 10 pages. The MC was pretty weak. Normally, the MC is sticking their nose where they don‘t belong to solve the mystery but this one just came off as annoying. Even the other characters thought so. I also thought there‘d be more time with the dog, hence the photo. #cantwinthemall
Cottage reading for the win! This was a great autobiography. Very well paced. I always liked Michelle but now I admire her. Being in Canada, you don‘t necessarily hear about all the initiatives the Obama administration completed. I enjoyed how she told it like it was when Trump came around and wasn‘t afraid to hide her reaction on Inauguration Day.
1. Last week I did a 4km colour run with my nephew Jake. It was so special. @Amanda23 has great kids 💕
2. Tagged, just a great thriller and showcases an amazing bond between woman and her dog. 🐶
3. Raptors 🦖
4. Harry Potter was big but Twilight just sticks out for me. It had such a huge following, I felt like I was part of a special club. 🧛🏻♂️
Update: Juno‘s out of her cone!
Another great cozy by Buckley. I kind of figured it out early on but it was still enjoyable. Looks like another book is on it‘s and I‘m looking forward to it.

Nothing like being the first person from the library to read the latest cozy. I‘m excited to dive into the latest of the Writers Apprentice Mystery series. The last book was good and here‘s hoping this one won‘t disappoint.
Juno‘s also tired of me catching up on all my reviews lol.

After reading JL Picard‘s autobiography, I was feeling like some more Star Trek. I‘ve had this one from Value Village for a while and it was so good. Riker stories are always entertaining and you still got to spend time with the rest of the crew. I can‘t wait to read more by Peter David.

That Ruth Ware knows how to write a book that you just can‘t put down. Everything I‘ve read by her I‘ve enjoyed and has had me guessing right to the end. Great, real characters and mystery.

I like how Penny uses really intelligent characters but she always puts them in unrealistic, somewhat ridiculous scenarios. This is the first book in the trilogy and I don‘t even need to read the next two because she‘s already set it up the same way as her other series. The way the story is setup, there‘s only one way for it to end so what‘s the point of finishing when I can use that time for other books.

This one gets a corgi bum because it was so disappointing. In the last year I started running but fell into a bit of a slump. I was hoping this book would inspire me and all I got were references to statistics and other mental health resources. There were over 30 references to other sources within the first 40 pages!
If you don‘t have a good understanding of mental illness, then maybe this book will help but it‘s not what I was looking for.
Been awhile Litsy, Juno and I are catching up on some reviews. P.s. she‘s wearing her cone because she scratched her eye. She‘s doing okay, just a little sad with her cone on.
This book was A-mazing! It felt like you were reading an autobiography of an actual person vs. a fictional one. If you love TNG, you‘ll love this book.

Home sick today so I‘m snuggled up in bed with Juno. This book was awesome! McManus just nails the mystery. I don‘t even notice that her books are YA because it‘s so focused on the story. None of the normal teen angst or love triangles. Highly recommend it.

This book was just alright for me. I liked the idea of it and the characters were good but it got a little lost and crazy in the middle there. The ending was good and everything wrapped up nicely. Not one of her better books.

This whole series is a big recommend. I finished it off, relaxing in the tub with my Charley-esk plastic wine glass.
What a finale. There was one part that just blew me away that I had to go back and reread a chapter cause it totally went over my head. While I don‘t think this is the last of these characters, I still felt very emotional reading the last chapter.
Thank you Darynda, for such a funny, awesome, sexy and heartwarming time.
This was a long read for me and not just because I‘ve been too tired to read a lot at night. While the story was good it felt really drawn out. Just felt like the characters over analyzed everything. Not my favourite Kelley book.
Juno though it smelled good though.

This is the 4th or 5th time I‘ve read this book and each time it makes me cry. I haven‘t read this since having Juno so the ending was especially tough but the love is so wonderful. It‘s such a great thriller as well. If you love NS then you have to read this book.
