Nora works as an agent for authors. Her most famous author had placed the setting of one of her most famous books in Sunshine Falls. One day Nora‘s sister decides that they should go on a sister trip there for 4 weeks. Once there, Nora meets an editor she has meet before and didn‘t like. Maybe things will change this time? And will Nora manage to relax for 4 weeks?
When the bookstores you visited in NYC are mentioned in your current read 😍😍😍

“There‘s always something too good to read”
Don‘t we all know it?
This book is beautiful! It has plenty of laugh out loud moments and steamy scenes but it ended in the most perfect way. I couldn‘t stop reading tonight and I‘m so glad I did. I laughed with the characters, I cried with them and I cheered them on to the last page.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This book was perfect. Absolutely perfect. I don‘t think a book has ever made me laugh out loud so much. I cried in the last chapter the happiest of tears. Nora and Charlie fit together so well. As an older sister, I also related very much to Nora‘s relationship with her younger sister, Libby. The audiobook reader was incredible. Such great acting skills. I am going to buy this book from a real bookstore; it‘s only right considering the story!
My November TBR.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Home sick today & read/listened to the whole thing. Best way to spend a sick day. Fourth time reading it, and it‘s still perfect.
Warm-hearted, fun, and the banter!! The writing wasn't great, but the characters more than make up for it. Enjoyable and light

My last read by Emily Henry. Just as non rom com as the previous
two novels . The humour (was it even that?!?) just didn't do it for me.
The banter was the highlight.
I repeatedly had to remind myself to not tear apart the characterization, though, to try to give myself the chance to enjoy it.
But still calling it a pick, because I think it‘s a me problem.
Happy National Book Lovers Day!
My latest order from Book Outlet should be delivered today. Perfect timing! What better way to celebrate than with bookmail?
Gotta love a rom-com centered around sarcastic editors, eccentric authors, cool siblings and a funky bookstore—written by someone who really loves those Hallmark movies. What fun!
Thanks for this perfect gift @Sleepswithbooks ! I was hoping to finish this in time to wish you a Happy National Friendship Day! 🤗❤️

Absolutely divine 🥰
Packed with loveable characters, this is the perfect feel-good read.
The epilogue made my face ache from smiling. If you're looking for an easy, romantic read, this is for you.
This was fun…my second Henry book, and I‘m officially a fan. Nora is a 30ish literary agent in NY. At 20, she took care of her younger sister Libby when their mom died and has always needed to make sure she‘s happy and has what she needs. Before the birth of her third child, Libby plans a sisters‘ trip to NC to the small town that her favorite author (who happens to be one of Nora‘s clients) writes about. Libby provides a bucket list of things 🔻
My June #doublespin was an enjoyable quick read. I don‘t think it‘s my favorite of Henry‘s, but I enjoyed it. (I still have to read People We Meet…) ⭐️⭐️⭐️
A bookish romantic comedy meets Hallmark movie plot. I enjoyed this one. 4 ⭐️
“Is there anything better than iced coffee and a bookstore on a sunny day? I mean, aside from hot coffee and a bookstore on a rainy day.”
A cute and slow romance with two unique protagonists (with the alpha female front and center) and their quirky ways… filling the void with their unconventional constant banter with humor filled to the brim. An additional side story about a lil mystery of the sister 👩🏻 ! I enjoyed the worlds colliding and the family members of each protagonist taking part. Much more enjoyable & meaningful than “people we meet on vacation”! Give this one a chance
32 is definitely an age I remember but I finally was able to do this at age 42… enjoying this pick wholeheartedly
Low expectations mean that I really, really enjoyed this. Like watching a slightly more complex hallmark movie from the opposite side. #26-2023
My first Emily Henry! Fun and charming with well-developed characters. It played with tropes in a deliberate way that I enjoyed. I enjoyed the main romance, and also really enjoyed the different family relationships that were all so important to the plot. Additional points for the character conceit - New York Career Woman keeps having her boyfriends dump her for Whimsical Country Folk - being hilarious.
Next 😆#may Bookspinbingo my #doublespin read live from my sunbed 😎 I probably need more time to lay and think 🤔 about the end of tomorrow tomorrow and tomorrow but im now on a reading 📖 mission !
I love Emily Henry. This book was another summer holiday read and was just the ticket. Summer was crap this year so a book like this really is what was needed. Loved the characters, not too predictable, lots of heart and humour. Can‘t wait for her next one. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Loved the way the characters conversed in this book! Such a fun read!!!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I downloaded Emily Henry‘s Book Lovers last week while I was sick with a sinus infection. It was the perfect distraction while I was feeling under the weather. I love books where the characters grow on me and I change my opinion of a character from the beginning to end. Quick easy read!
Nora Stephens' life is books—she‘s read them all—and she is not that type of heroine. Not the plucky one, not the laidback dream girl, and especially not the sweetheart.
+ cute comfort read
- predictable
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This is my third time reading this one, and I felt like I just immediately settled into it - so much comfort & care in this story.
Julia Whelan continues to be my number one audiobook narrator & this book continues to be my top pick by Henry. And really just a top book of all the books.
The moment I finished I just wanted to start it again.

This book was published a year ago today.
I listed to this one as an audio book. I enjoyed the banter between Nora & Charlie. I loved Nora‘s sarcasm & I loved Charlie in general. I lived in NC for a while & so loved the small town story aspect (which could totally see & the Blue Ridge Mountains are absolutely beautiful). A quick, fun listen. Perfect for the beach but I‘m still a few weeks away before summer vacation. #bookspin book
Airport reading - don‘t know why but it‘s special ☺️
Trip to the US was waaaay too short, feels like I just got here. Heading back to Germany already 🛫🇩🇪
Couldn‘t really concentrate on any real reading with all the family time going on so I started re-reading this book that was fun the first time and is more fun the second time 🤓 the banter and snark are a delight!! 💫
After a very jammed pack day . Meetings for me in the morning, followed by a very busy afternoon of Museum, IKEA shopping, Playdium, hotel pool and waterside the kids and the adults are all ready for a calm night and tucked into bed with books.
The tagged book is my last #roll100 for April.

This book redeemed the author, Emily Henry for me. A really well written romance book that pulled at my heart strings. The complexity of the characters is truly beautiful. The plot twists never stop coming. The only thing that annoyed me was the repetition of problems that could be solved through communication. Seems to be a common theme throughout her books. Overall, a beautiful story and I highly recommend it.
My Review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5)
My latest charity shop buy ? I haven‘t read any Henry but when I heard about this one it really appealed to me so I‘ve been on the look out for it. A bargain at 50p. This book started its life in the USA and it never ceases to amaze me how much paperbacks cost across the pond. This one‘s RRP is $17 ? over here it would be Qf.99 full price and probably part of a buy one get one half price offer too!
This was just as lovely as I had heard. I liked that there was some real emotional heft and not just the standard romance cutouts. I also loved the way that tropes were used in this one.
Rereading Book Lovers is always the right call. As someone who is shark-esque at times, I love that Charlie loves that tendency about Nora, and I also love how much they both want each other to be satisfied with life! And all the little humorous details are pitch-perfect as always. #reread #contemporaryromance
