I‘ve always had a weird fascination with cults and the psychology behind them. I loved reading about the impact language has. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Good story with a good little twist at the end. I loved that the killer wasn‘t all the way out there but still a little unpredictable how it all went down. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I‘ve never read a book quite like this. Very unique premise and very engaging book. It was very twisty and lots of characters/aliases so at times I had to pay close attention to who was who and what was going on but I was invested and loved it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very sweet book. Loved the characters. Fast paced which I loved. Not a lot of fluff which is exactly what I wanted. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I hated all the characters as was meant to be. The story was good but a little slow in parts. I feel like I would have liked more depth from the background characters.⭐️⭐️⭐️

Unbelievably fantastic. My two fav books of all time are by this author and now my top 3 fav books. This story is told with so much emotion. I rarely tear up at books but I did several times during this one. Not enough words to describe this story. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I knew and understood the premise but the whole thing was just too predictable. I got very bored through the entire 75% of the middle. ⭐️⭐️

I‘m a fan of horror books but rarely give them 5 stars. This one kept me totally engaged and though a little long I read it in 2 sittings. I loved the premise of 4 horror authors meeting in a haunted house on Halloween night. The ending was not what I expected and I loved it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This wasn‘t a book I read every word of. I enjoyed the messages and loved the motivation it provided. I won‘t be waking up at 5am every day but it did help me get motivation to make some changes.

I‘ve never read a book where I hated all the characters as much as this one. It was an ok read but I wasn‘t excited about the thriller aspects. It was pretty predictable on a broad level in my opinion. ⭐️⭐️

I‘m not sure how I feel about this book. I may have to sit with it for a bit. It was dark and haunting but I also feel like it could have gone more into depth from certain perspectives which is unlike me. I usually like getting right to the point. I‘m glad I read it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lesliereadsalot Really liked this book. You have to ruminate on this one. 1mo

I wasn‘t a fan. It started out very good but I struggled with the overly flowery descriptive writing style. Then the story just got weird and I was already tuned out. It was a lot of work for me.

This book explores aging in an unsettling but terrific way. The book reads a bit like a fever dream and it‘s unclear what to think and believe. The author does a phenomenal job making you really think and have compassion for the elderly. Highly recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I just couldn‘t get into this one at all. I listened to the audiobook and couldn‘t wait for it to be done. It also just ends very abruptly. I know there‘s another book but I did just feel like it could have ended with more thought. The cover was amazing though!!! ⭐️⭐️

I loved hearing Britney‘s experiences from her point of view. So heartbreaking and infuriating all at once. The only issue I had was that it felt like teen Britney wrote the whole thing. I didn‘t feel like her thought process changed much throughout her life until she finally took a stand at the end. I definitely feel for her and loved the book. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I enjoyed this story but I‘m not a big fantasy reader so found myself lost at certain points. It‘s more of a me problem than a book problem. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

CatLass007 Do you have any interest in mythology? I didn‘t know about a lot of mythology from other cultures so I found that part confusing and interesting. The mythologies I‘m most familiar with are Greek and Roman. I don‘t even remember if there were any Greek and Roman myths in this book. 5mo
