Whilst grandad keeps little wild things occupied in the garden I‘m continuing to read this very useful book. Well useful if you are a counsellor specialising in childhood neurodiversity who also has a little boy who has just been diagnosed with ASD, ADHD, ODD and PDA. If you have children in the mix I can highly recommend this one

This wasn‘t the greatest ever mystery but it was good enough for me to get the next one lined up on my Kindle. It‘s a twist on the detective novel with the genealogist at the heart of a mystery that he will have to solve in order to save lives. 3 and a half stars ⭐️ from me

I started reading this book because it‘s all about my Kindle at the moment. I‘m having a baby in less than two weeks and sleep has officially ended (thanks huge bump/summer nights) so it‘s good to be able to read without disturbing hubby with my lamp. Picked this up from Prime Library because it‘s a genealogical mystery- something I haven‘t tried before. And so far I‘m enjoying it.

This was a book with a really good idea but maybe not executed quite as well. It was a quick read and there are 3 more in the series but I don‘t feel drawn to read them. My main issue was that when the narrator changed from one character to another half way through they sounded exactly the same. It meant I kept forgetting who was talking and didn‘t feel very attached to either character.

A couple of weeks ago my little boy found this “sammy” beanie baby at a car boot sale and fell in love. The lady kindly gave it to him for free and he promptly tore the Ty heart label off and gave it a big cuddle. Even now my instinct was to say “no don‘t tear off the tag!!!” 😄 I‘m enjoying listening to the tagged book and hearing just how much craziness there was around Sammy and his friends! And what went into his design!

This was an easy read for a week on holiday. I pretty much guessed the plot but I cared enough about the characters that it kept me reading to the end to see what happened to them. I think with murder mysteries that‘s the key for me these days. Pic is me and bump in Agadir this week where I read 90% of the book in the moments I wasn‘t building sandcastles with my 2 little beach boys❤️

I‘m on a bit of an Anthony Horowitz spree. I find his books easy to listen to whilst my morning (all day) sickness is too bad to pick up a real book. This photo is of my two little boys yesterday in the field behind our house. Everything looks so pretty in the snow but it caused the inevitable chaos because England does not cope with more than two snowflakes! ❄️❄️❄️

Slajaunie We can‘t deal with any snow. Everything shuts down because it is so rare and we don‘t have the equipment to deal with it. The book sounds interesting. (edited) 7mo

So I finally finished my first book of #booked2019 -set in 🇮🇪. I think it was a mistake to listen to it on audio because I can honestly say it was the worst narrator I have ever heard. The book itself kept me intrigued even though I found the main characters somewhat unlikable. But the ending... the ending drove me nuts! It was a non ending that left a lot of lose ends. I will still read the next book though as I hear they get better.

Elma I'm going to read the same book for that prompt. It's been on my #tbr for a long time. 7mo
