pickI picked up this lovely edition of P&P a couple of months ago and have really enjoyed a re-read. I‘d forgotten how essential Lady Catherine is to the final chapters!
I was also gifted a lovely bookmark which was made to commemorate the Queens Platinum Jubilee.

so-soMe finishing this book has been almost a year in the making. I tried to read it last March but I struggled with the language. Even now it took me way longer to read than I would have thought possible, it took two 8+ hour train rides to finish it. Not much happens in the book and I had to keep going back to reread things. Probably still a bunch that I didn‘t understand.

It was a reread. The narration was perfect!

pickI admire this art almost as much as I admired this book♡ (not my art - I wish!) Took me long enough to read it all the way through, only took me 10+ years to pick it up again. It was lovely, consistently enjoyable, and such a well built world I wish I could return to♡
