It (Media Tie-In) | Stephen King

This last chapter I read was so eye opening. Being scared or fearful does something to the mind, and standing up to life‘s small challenges is so satisfying. My guess is Eddie‘s mom didn‘t want to lose her son at a very young age.

Gallant | V.E. Schwab
Pickpick

I enjoyed this book so much. I didn‘t expect the twist and turns I got from it, but they were also unsurprising. I couldn‘t put down once I started reading it— I couldn‘t wait to read more! I‘ll be looking up more books from this author asap!

Why have I waited so long to read Gallant by V.E. Schwab? I‘m already invested. #summerofreading

I enjoyed this book a lot especially since it was read by Sofia Carson who played Evie in the Descendants movies. I was pleasantly surprised that there was prequel to the very first movie, but I loved listening to how these four have become friends.

Only a Monster | Vanessa Len

I enjoyed this book. It was more of an adventure book than a romance. This book is about a journey that Joan takes with her cousin and one other to learn about her other half that lies dormant within her.

Picked up this #librarybook on a whim, and I‘m already halfway through it. I‘m loving everything about this book so far—even the love triangle it presents. I‘m rooting for Aaron and Joan to hook up ‘cuz who doesn‘t love enemies to lovers?? And, the way I see it she‘s burned bridges from that other guy…

I love this book. At first I couldn‘t get into it, but as I listened on I got wrapped up in its world, and it‘s characters. It‘s a bit predictable, but I guess it‘s the charm of the story. #audiobook

Death in the Sunshine | Steph Broadribb
Pickpick

This was a quick read, and I'm learning that I am loving the mystery genre. In this book there are mysteries upon mysteries. Yes, there is the surface mystery where they have to figure out who killed a young woman. Then there are two other mysteries surrounding two of the retired detectives. I want more time with these characters especially with that fourth mystery introduced at the end of the book.

Will | Will Smith
Pickpick

I love this book. I love this book so much that I bought myself a copy of the hardback. This book is so inspirational and motivating. I liked hearing Will‘s struggles and realizations through his own life. The #audiobook is probably one of the best audiobooks I‘ve listened to in my lifetime.

Death in the Sunshine | Steph Broadribb

This book has me thinking. I‘m also at the edge of my seat silently begging for Moira to tell them the truth but I have a few guesses how they find out.

I just started this #audiobook last night, and listening to Will Smith read his own book is quite a gem.

Pickpick

I loved this book. I never read any of Olivia Dade‘s books before and I was utterly surprised. I have to admit it‘s refreshing to read about a chubby character falling in love with a famous person. I also love how the author deals with the issues the main characters have. An easy five stars for me.

Homicide and Halo-Halo | Mia P. Manansala
Pickpick

I devoured this book. There were twist and tuns that I didn't expect, and I honestly thought the accused was one of the ones the book presented early on. In the end, the author presented an plausible plot that I believe can happen anywhere. This is easily a five star book for me. #mystery #ebook

I have a tendency to pic up colorful books, and this one spoke to me, since I'm half Filipino. I'm surprise that this is becoming a quick read, and I', enjoying it thus far. I love the characters, and the setting. And, I have a feeling my mom would be part of the “momtestants“ adding to the tsismis. I should probably also add I haven't red the first book. #mystery

Reminders of Him | Colleen Hoover
Pickpick

This is the second book of Colleen Hoover‘s I‘ve read. I‘m not a big fan of hers but when I saw this book I just had to read it. This book is beautiful. I was moved to tears, enough to make me put the book down. The only grip I have with it is the ending felt rushed, and I wanted a bigger payout when Kenna reunited with her daughter. 3.5/5 ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ #kindleunlimited #ebook

I‘ve been reading this book every other day. It did not get hooked me until at least chapter three or four. I was intrigued by the show on #netflix, but saw that it had a #danmei/ novel and was curious. Now, I just want to read more. I need to find out what happens next.

I did not like the book nor hate this book. It was a quick read. I waited to long to read this book and felt the detached of most of the characters in the book, and the book as I felt it dragged on. 2.5 ⭐/5 ⭐

I've been slowly reading all of these books even though the last book I've read was over a year ago. I do love Alice in Wonderland, but these books put the characters in a modern setting. In these books Its up to Alice and Pillar to race against time and deaths to solve the mystery of each book. I am completely fascinated with the puzzle in this book. They have to find bones shaped like chess pieces. I feel as if this is the deadliest puzzle yet.

Boyfriend Material is adorable, and it was a journey. I absolutely adore it.That being said, the background characters are a bit one dimensional, and the drama is a bit over the top. The story is a bit predictable too. By the end of it I was in tears, and sad that it's over. I am looking forward to the next book. ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ 4.5 stars out of 5
