February #MonthInReview
I felt like my brain was extra scattered this past month and had trouble sticking to books but I still managed to finish 17 books. I just have 8 more in various states of completion π
So still a good month of reading and some great picks π
I finished a whopping 6 books this month and that‘s only because I forgot there were new I Hate Fairyland issues and had a mini-binge over the weekend. I bailed on so much, but I‘ve also focused more on doing other things - some creative projects and classes. #februarystats #februarywrapup
OK, so we are 5 days in, but here is my February TBR. I won‘t read this many books & as always, it‘s subject to change to my mood, but I think I‘ll get through the first couple of rows including the books from #SundayBuddyRead #Pemberlittens #DiverseCozy #SeriesLove2023 #FoodandLit and #IndependentWomen buddy reads.
TBR for February in the event I get stuck: 2 books carried over from January, a March NetGalley release, the next #goldenagecrimeclub selection, the books to catch up to the March selection, a few library books, my local bookstore‘s February book club pick, and most importantly, the reminder that my primary goals are to dive into a chunkster from my shelves and read more mysteries/crime novels in translation.
Repost for @Eggs
Heads up! February is 5 days awayππ
This month is just a tad different: the challenge is to submit a quote that corresponds to the daily prompt! Don‘t you love quotes ?? Especially those that inspire or surprise or hit you in your soulβ¦
Thanks to everyone who played in January and we look forward to seeing your wonderful postsπ

My February TBR for my #bookspinbingo card. Thank you so much for the idea, @TheAromaofBooks
It‘s a mix of audio, 22 of β22 picks, my book club choice, a couple of options for my memoirs around the world challenge, and some other fun titles. Can‘t wait to see what gets picked for #bookspin and #doublespin!
Here‘s my February #bookspinbingo list! This may be the earliest I‘ve ever had a list finished and posted! π
Repost for @LitsyBirthdays

In February I read nine books. Break the Bodied, Haunt the Bones by Micah Dean Hicks and The English Wife by Lauren Willig were my favorites. Cujo was my least favorite. I loved the poor dog, hated the people πΆ
My #FebruaryReads consisted of 7 titles. Confederacy was full audio audiobook. Falcon was read and listened to simultaneously. The rest were combination of ebook and print. My favorite was probably The President's Shadow, and my least favorite The Maltese Falcon.

Nowhere near as many books as in January however I loved a lot more of these. I especially loved listening to The Order of the Phoenix. Jim Dale did an excellent job narrating. I unfortunately felt nothing for the characters in Nothing Personal. And decided to move on to greener pastures.
I hope you had a fabulous February. What were some of your favorite reads?

My February Reading Plans!
Happy February! Did you know, before the current Julian calendar was used February was the only month that had an even number of days. I read that somewhere a while back. Just another reason to read more. You learn lots of useful (unuseful) things!ππ

According to my #bulletjournal 2018 has been a great year for books so far! I've racked up 7 for my #ReadHarder challenge, 3 for my #Booked2018 challenge, and just 1 for #LitWorld2018GB (but that will change). Bring me more books!! π

I have a tiny bit of a reading slump mid-February, which has resulted in several books started and stopped. I‘m better now and plan to finish the titles, as some are for challenges. But, I did not complete as many in February as I had hoped. If February only had a few more days...
I was in a reading rut for most of February, so I'm kind of surprised that I even got six books read. Surprisingly I didn't read any romance books for the month of February, although I sorta intended to...oh well. π
