Having a crazy work week & I realized I never posted my December #TBR. I meant to have a calm & quiet December but still loaded up 21 books that I wanted to read.this month. 😉 Will I get to them all? Probably not, but we‘ll see where we get to.

Read tonight for November‘s #ChildrensClassicRead2024 This was a cute story & quick read with life lessons told through animal characters. It‘s apparently a series with different animals the lead in each book. It was perhaps a bit “folksy” for me but I enjoyed it overall. 🐿️ 🤎

Aww this was cute. It started out a little slow for me but by the end I was fully invested in Chatterer‘s fate. 😆 Thanks for hosting the #ChildrensClassicRead2024 @TheBookHippie ! 4⭐️

Okay, I‘m learning to tolerate squirrels more after reading this cute classic. Even if they do sabotage my bird feeders.😆 I was more fascinated to learn about author Burgess who adored nature & spent his writing life teaching children to appreciate all wildlife. He wrote more than 170 books! Plus he was big on conservatism and helped pass laws to protect migrating wildlife.🙌🏻

I‘ve been crap at reading my bookspin picks this year but every month I have the best intentions!

I failed to read as much as I wanted or complete all of my books & challenges for October & #HauntedShelf but I did manage to finish some & read/listened to 15 books + 1 children‘s book & 2 stories.

I still need to do reviews but I finished for #SundayBuddyRead #SheSaid #ChildrensClassicRead2024 #NancyDrewBR #BobWhiteBuddies 3 for #SeasonalCozies #SeriesLive my 3 #Roll100 books but no #CastTheDie

Well I got thoroughly sucked into this story for the #ChildrensClassicRead2024 ! I really enjoyed this and it has inspired me to read more books set in this time period (1600s). Thanks for organizing this @TheBookHippie ! 5⭐️

I‘m really enjoying the tagged book for the #ChildrensClassicRead2024 and can tell already I‘m really going to like it. Time spent reading yesterday: 4 hours 30 minutes = 45 points x‘s 5 for 4 readathons = 225 points.
