What an intense listen! Following Blood Sports of the prison system, this dystopian novel expertly portrays how society can detach from the prison system and see prisoners as nothing more than their crimes due for punishment instead of rehabilitation. My only issue was that there were so many characters which made it hard to follow at times. 4⭐️ for me! #litsylovereads
The author states this book is much darker than the first book and that is ABSOLUTELY RIGHT. Harder to read but I also could not put it down. So much pain and healing happening and Sibby is my favorite… I‘m really upset with the author about leaving us in the dark there! 4⭐️ for me! #litsylovereads
I loved it but hated it too? Creepy and eerie but also intimate and full of raw emotion. 4 ⭐️ for me! #litsylovereads
Finished this one up in less than 24 hours and it was absolutely delightful. Charming, witty, tense, yet totally genuine. I honestly loved it 🥹 Highly recommend! #LitsyLoveReads

The ending 😭 so bittersweet. Words cannot articulate how much I recommend The Green Bone Saga! #LitsyLoveReads
A throw back but one that I still think about today! Absolutely loved reading Seven Days in June when I used to follow along with Reese‘s Book Club and it makes me want to start following along with a book club again for 2024. We shall see 😍🤍
4.5 ★
I‘ll be honest, at the beginning of this book I was a little like what the heck am I reading? Very detailed and dense with many characters that had me slightly discombobulated. BUT I finally started to connect all the dots and goodness gracious is this book good! Flew through 800 pages like it was nothing and can‘t wait to pick up book two! #LitsyLoveReads

Despite not knowing a single thing about tennis, Carrie Soto Is Back is a phenomenal read. An elite female tennis player fights her way back to the top despite being written off by the tennis world due to being considered “too old” and called a bitch by many others. The audio version is amazing and brings this story to life even more so than just reading. Highly recommend the listen! #LitsyLoveReads
Yikes! I do not take DNF lightly but When Grumpy Met Sunshine was just not for me. Flat and uninteresting banter gave me nothing to be excited about. All I could think about was what book I could be reading instead. So I took that as a sign to DNF and move on. Better luck to the next reader! #LitsyLoveReads
Thank you NetGalley and St Martin‘s Press for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Many have been following along and checking in on Foster Jetty‘s time with us… well he is all ready to put his best paw forward because tomorrow he goes to meet his potential forever home 😍
Send us all the good luck!! We are rooting for Jetty to finally find his forever home 🏡

I‘m convinced that Ali Hazelwood can do no wrong when it comes to writing.
Her books and characters are relatable, charming, sexy, funny, witty all while integrating serious notes of emotion and what it‘s like to be a woman in male dominated fields. Love, Theoretically is all those things plus an enemies to lovers, empowering, embrace who you truly are plotline. Highly recommend! #LitsyLoveReads
The Ashes & The Star-Cursed King by Carissa Broadbent
4 ★
Bittersweet is the first thing that comes to mind when reading The Ashes & The Star-Cursed King. Book two picks up immediately where book one left off and is packed with so much emotion and action from start to finish. The character relationships are so raw and real, it‘s impossible not to feel attached.
Spoiler: I‘m not ready for Raihn and Oraya‘s story to end 😭

After missing out on a totally exclusive version of Fourth Wing and being hit with outrageous FOMO, I decided it must not happen again.
I‘ve decided to branch over to #Bookstagram to keep up with all the books and bookish related things. If you are on Bookstagram, feel free to say hi!

I think I had too high of expectations based on all the 5 star reviews as it wasn‘t really a 5 star book in my opinion. Finlay Donovan Is Killing It was an easy, quick read with a really good ending and some great characters. But I think I missed the charm and comedic relief that so many others enjoyed. #LitsyLoveReads

I think I had too high expectations for this book as it kept popping up as a recommendation for me based on my most recent reads and boy was it missing a little bit of the spice factor 🌶️
A slower start but once things got moving at about 20%, I found it hard to put the book down! Overall, a solid read for me!
Obsessed. This book is a masterpiece!
Now who can help me get an ARC so I don‘t have to wait until November for the second book to be published?! #LitsyLoveReads
A therapist and a man standing on the edge of a bridge. Beautiful, romantic, painful and emotional. A slow start but worth it to read until the very end. #LitsyLoveReads
TW: Suicide
I adored Secretly Yours by Tessa Bailey but I thought the storyline was just a little rushed and unrealistic.
My favorite Tessa Bailey read? Nope. Honestly, found Wes to be a little cringe worthy but I adored Bethany and Laura. Overall, would say the Hot & Hammered series is a good one but definitely not Tessa Bailey‘s best work. #LitsyLoveReads
This one took me a little longer to get hooked. Possibly because I‘m still feeling a bit of a book hangover from reading Reminders of Him. But once I finally found my reading groove, it was worth every moment! The ending was everything! #LitsyLoveReads
Stayed up until 1 a.m. last night to read this and finished it up first thing today. Obsessed! Colleen Hoover is pure talent. Highly recommend! #LitsyLoveReads
Spent the day getting all caught up on #LitsyLove plus some 💌📬 Mail will be headed out in the morning!
Wrapped up ACOTAR yesterday and I have my fingers crossed that Sarah J Maas is writing the next book in this series because I am obsessed! I don‘t reread books but could see myself rereading this one. Highly recommend!
Gah my heart is gushing ❤️ Tessa Bailey just knows how to write funny, catchy, and steamy reads! Fox and Hannah are to die for!
Considering I read this book in less than 48 hours… that‘s enough to say I am obsessed! Absolutely captivated by the sheer intensity between characters and looking forward to reading more. #LitsyLoveReads
It‘s been a hot minute since I‘ve read a book by Tessa Bailey and I devoured it! A fast, comical, and steamy read that earned 4 🌟 #LitslyLoveReads
Finished up Camp Zero and can say it was pretty darn good! The author tells the story from three different POVs and ties them together beautifully! My one complaint is that the ending was so abrupt. I didn‘t understand the urgency to end the story and was left feeling like “What? That‘s it?” But overall, it‘s a good one! #LitsyLoveReads
Lots and lots of #LitsyLove hitting the mailbox today 💌 looking forward to many more letters to come! ❤️
An eye-opening, intimate story. Truly heartbreaking but also feeling honored to read Jennette‘s road to healing ❤️ 4.5 stars rated up! #LitsyLoveReads
Listening along with Reese Witherspoon‘s book club. Not the worst of all reads but at times, I kind of wished I was listening to something else. Didn‘t see the ending which was a redeeming quality for me 📖 #LitsyLoveReads
Wow, what an ending! Can‘t wait to dive into Jade Legacy to see how Fonda Lee wraps up The Green Bone Saga.
Very late in posting this but thank you @catiewithac ❤️ a sweet sweet surprise! The conversation hearts didn‘t last for the picture 😂 thank you for passing along your extra copy. Just so happens, I need a book to read that is less than 200 pages so looks like I have found my next read! 📖
Goodness gracious so good. A very intimate read and I feel honored that Michelle Zauner shared her story ❤️ Highly recommend! #LitsyLoveReads
January 2023 is off to a strong start with some really good reads, Lessons in Chemistry being one of them. An easy 5🌟 for me because it was just so good. I felt connected to Elizabeth, her experiences, and her thoughts. In addition, Mad and Six-Thirty were amazing! ❤️

A few days late here but just wanting to send a giant thank you to those who wished me the happiest birthday! ❤️ thank you to my husband, my family, my coworkers, and the amazing #LitsyLove community for making me feel incredibly special! I appreciate you all ❤️
Signal Fires by Dani Shapiro earned 3 🌟 from me. It was very middle of the road, not bad but not amazing. I can see why some people love it but I found it hard to feel attached to the characters and wasn‘t left with any sort of emotion.

Starting 2023 off strong with two amazing reads!
5🌟 This Tender Land
4.5 🌟 Love on the Brain
Seriously soooooo good! Highly recommend both. And on the topic of recommendations, I am obsessed with my Bookworm Life Planner from Peanut Butter Taco 😍 it‘s adding in so much fun to my book tracking for the year!

Being transparent, I ended my work day yesterday in tears. All is well, but abrupt change is hard and my body needed time to process.
To my surprise, I open the front door and see this big box. THANK YOU SO MUCH @catiewithac 🎁❤️ the best surprise! It means so much that you took the time to send this my way. Now I am going to try to be patient until my birth date is a little bit closer before I open😅 CAN‘T WAIT!
I started The Sign for Home a few months ago and then wrapped it up yesterday. Honestly, I‘m regretting it took me so long. Arlo, a DeafBlind man, decides to take a writing class which leads him to unlock old memories and friendships guiding him to his true love. The character attachment is real as I grew to love Arlo, Cyril, Hanne, and Molly dearly. A solid 4 🌟 read! #LitsyLoveReads
When the internet goes out, you get a lot of reading done 🤓
Finished Jade City by Fonda Lee and I loved it! The ending did make me sad and I wished it hadn‘t ended the exact way it did, but I‘m hoping the next two books will redeem that for me. Looking forward to continuing on with this series!
I almost thought about putting this under my Christmas tree to open later but I then I decided I wanted to enjoy the book love now!! 🎄🎁❤️ Thank you thank you @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks for the gift!!
For Louise Penny Fans, Three Pines is out on Amazon Prime and it is AH👏🏻MAZ👏🏻ING! I just finished book #17 last week so it was so fun to see the characters come to life. Highly recommend!

I really enjoyed this one up until the ending and then it fell flat. But up until then, I was hooked and loved getting to see yet another side of some amazing characters that I have come to love over 17 books! Very excited for book 18 to release very soon 📖❤️
I am very thankful for #LitsyLove helping me build connections all over the world and surprising me with the most wonderful gifts! 🎁
Considering this my first Christmas gift and it‘s a fabulous one! Thank you @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks ❤️
The “oh sh$t, I need to work on my reading goal” type of books!
Wrapped up the three Steminist Novellas by Ali Hazelwood last night and they were fabulous. Very fast, smooth, easy reads with the perfect mix of humor and romance! Highly recommend ❤️ #litsylovereads
Rating: 5 🌟
This book is AH-MAZ-ING! I felt so many feelings while reading The Heart Principle and ended with an equal mixture of joy in my heart and tears running down my face. Highly recommend!! ❤️ #LitsyLoveReads
