I enjoyed this beach read. 🤣 Seriously, though, The Swell is a quick, easy read about some surfers who hide themselves in an isolated area - and members of their Tribe keep dying under suspicious circumstances. Definitely a psychological thriller. #Kindle #ebook #Libby

I really can‘t get enough of the Grishaverse. I love every book more than the one before it. This was a solid addition to this trilogy. #ebook #Kindle

Lauranahe I love these books!! And the six of crows. ❤️❤️❤️ 2y
jenreads7 @Lauranahe Yes!!! Crooked Kingdom was 🤩😍!!! 2y
Lauranahe When I read the six of crows books, in my head I have to make them older, at least mid-twenties. Otherwise, I feel a little weird about Kaz being my book boyfriend. 😂 Have you seen fan art of him?? 😍 I do like the guy who plays him on the show. 2y

jenreads7 @Lauranahe Perfect! 😂 I haven‘t seen much fan art, and I haven‘t seen the show either. 🙈 2y
Lauranahe I watched the show first, and really liked it. So then I read shadow and bone book. Halfway through the book, I was getting annoyed. Where is Kaz?? I googled it, and learned he has his own series, and his storyline in the show was a prequel to his series. After that, I was able to enjoy the shadow and bones books. But as soon I finished, I went out and got the six of crows. AND it made me appreciate the show more. (edited) 2y
jenreads7 @Lauranahe That‘s awesome! Have you read the King of Scars duology yet? That‘s next for me! And The Lives of Saints, of course! 2y
Lauranahe No I haven‘t, but I will now! I did like ninth house, and am looking forward to its sequel. 2y

The #audiobook narrator was amazing. This book is a twisty thriller, and part of the suspense is the amount of confusion around who is “good” and who is “bad.” (Obviously, there‘s good and bad in all of us.) I wanted to race to the end to find out how all of the loose ends were resolved. #Libby

A “very bad day” led to a mother‘s worst nightmare. It was dystopian, but it felt like it could happen here today.
