A correction for Wednesday's number, I forgot to include my ebook totals. Not much read yesterday. I'm trying to finish a challenge and learning that I don't enjoy “having to read“ so even though they are books I picked and am interested in I'm not feeling much reading joy. If I ever needed proof that I am a mood reader I have it. I'm not sure what I'll do for future challenges or even if I'll be able to finish this one.

I‘m almost done with Bound and will pick up my book club book next. I really hope it‘s great. I‘ve had a string of “just okay” books lately and I need that to change.

I listened to a good chunk of Rodham today, and I‘m closing it out with Capote‘s A Christmas Memory.

I‘m glad @LiseWorks posted her list because I almost forgot to post mine🤦🏾‍♀️. I‘m currently reading Mate so it may or may not actually be included. I‘ll probably throw a #25in25 book in too.

Pumpkin and Apple are very close at 14 and 11 votes respectively.
Poor candy corn only has one vote.

I had a successful weekend reading during the #JustOneMoreChapter readathon! I finished the three books I planned, plus read a manga, graphic novel, and short story. And I started a few more titles to get me going this week!

#JustOneMoreChapter Wrap Up

I finished my books club book, The Weight of Blood and 89% of Lover Forbidden. Both were really good stories and I exceeded my goal of 400 pages. 466/400 to be exact 🙃.

I had a great time reading and hope you all did too.

Wrap up for #Pages4Rest

My weekend ended up being more social than I planned but I managed to finish Undead Girl Gang, start and finish The Weight of Blood and start Lover Forbidden.

All three of these books have proven to have twist that I never saw coming. I love it.

Forgot to post this last night. Got a good amount of time in with my physical book when I took my daughter to the library to study, and finished Slaughterhouse when running errands and doing chores. I read this week‘s chapter of Magnetic North for work book club, and then turned to Smile Beach Murder. Hoping to read a bit more before bed but today was my early day so we‘ll see.

There was a time when I would have chosen to ignore a reasonable bed time and risk my attitude being that of a grouchy 3 year old in the name of 100 pages. Last night I chose sleep. Is this maturity?

Jill, thank you so much for running this readathon. There is something special about knowing others are reading along with you that I find motivating. I finished 3 books: The Stolen Queen, Bryant and May: Oranges & Lemons, & Misfortune. Murder at Gull‘s Nest is an audiobook- I did make progress on that.
