For my #travelthroughreading challenge I selected this title for Malaysia. This is a combination folklore, romance story that I found very compelling. This is the second book I‘ve read by this author and she‘s quickly becoming an automatic download. Her first book was a #reesewitherspoon #hellosunshine pick. I finished this at the beginning of the month and loved it!!! There were a few world building questions I had -- for instance, if people were disappearing from there why didn't every staff member run from the hills?? -- but other than that I just loved this Jane Eyre retelling. I particularly liked how the author brought the religious aspects of the original text into this world. I gobbled it up!

Current read. The mother-in-law in this book is really stressing me out! But also, I'm halfway through, and there's no sign of it being a thriller yet.

This book was WONDERFUL. It took me a while to get into it, but I‘m so glad I gave it the time. It‘s darkly funny and deeply personal. I didn‘t want it to end.

Six hours down! Finished Lord Edgware Dies last night (must say I like the alternate title Thirteen at Dinner better) and now I‘m about halfway through The Guest List. Definitely gripping! I love the eerie, windswept atmosphere. ☔️

I‘ve been reading nonstop this week. A bunch of my holds came in from the library all at once. Good thing this was so riveting- I finished this in a flash!
