It's a definite comfort read for me, it's fun reading both sides of story. Tiffy is chaotic and cheerful, Leon is stiff, introvert yet caring.
My first read for August #bookspinbingo is my #doublespin book *yeay*
The amazing story of two specific individuals who share a bed, but have not met- Tiffy and Leon. This book tells the tale of a girl who works during the day in need of an affordable flat and a boy who is a night nurse in need of some extra money. However, due to a wrongly accused bother and an obsessive, emotionally abusive ex boyfriend, things seem far more complicated than expected.
Worth the hype, and the wait from the library! So good, sweet, thoughtful, unique. Takes the just one bed trope to a whole new level and then turns it upside down. CW for emotional abuse but it is handled deftly. Highly recommend!
Loved this - ideal for a holiday read!
One of those books where it‘s quite obvious how it‘s going to end, but still fun to go on the journey to get there.
Henry definitely doesn‘t have his own personal inflatable sofa for camping!
Not posted in a while so I know have a backlog of books to post about!
I really enjoyed The Flat Share, especially the flipped format between Tiffy and Leon‘s POV. I also think compared to other books I‘ve read recently this was a lot more emotional and hard hitting and although touching on really sensitive subjects including domestic abuse and PTSD it was done really well!
It's looking like another day of hitting my #BFC2022 goals - I've done all of the Blogilates videos on the calendar for today (the names of the videos are hilarious to me haha), Day 3 of 'Move' (Yoga) will be done before bed & I'm determined to finish The Flatshare this eve too! I might even read it in the bath😍 That will then be my first book of 2022 & my first #BookSpinBingo square complete!
Started my morn off with 50 more pages of The Flatshare (love!) & Day 2 of 'Move' with Yoga w/ Adriene😁 The Blogilates Day 3 video comes out later today so I'm planning on an evening workout🌟 Today's Action For Happiness action is to do something kind for someone else - I'm going to do some shopping on behalf of my flat, and I'll do some more bday present planning for my partner & friend too!🌷

This morn as part of the Action for Happiness calendar, I chose 3 things I'm looking forward to this year❤ Move with Yoga w/ Adriene officially starts tomorrow, so I did the Blogilates Flexibility Fix today instead! This afternoon, I'm going to keep reading The Flatshare - I'm going to use it for one of my free #BookSpinBingo Board spaces😁
#WinterCosy Readathon @Puddlejumper @wanderinglynn @TheAromaOfBooks
And that's a wrap for the #WinterGames2021 - this has been so much fun! I'm so glad I took part😁
I got 9934 points for #TeamGameSleighers in #Week5👏 That's 22,117 points for all the weeks combined - yay! @StayCurious
This was such a cute fluffy romance. Tiffy is just fabulous, I love her quirky style. The drama really picked up towards the end and despite a whole cast of characters I was never confused. Enjoyable and fun.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫This was a reread for my book club, so I decided to listen to the audiobook, and it was such a good time! I found myself just driving around so that I could listen more. O‘Leary is great at writing these crazy situations - like a bed share - but somehow making them seem normal & pulling in a lot of real life elements, like emotional abuse & incarcerated family members. But also laugh out loud funny & very sweet.
1. Yes—frequently! Life is short and my TBR list is long.
2. Anything as long as it clearly tells me I won‘t enjoy the book. If I don‘t like the writing style, that‘s probably the biggest thing because that‘s not going to change over the course of the book.
3. I would and I have—I originally DNFed Emma and now I‘m reading the whole thing! A number of years have passed in between, though, and I think that‘s important.
After being disappointed by Spoiler Alert, I was in the mood for another fluffy romance so I‘m giving this one a try. Not sure about it so far; I find the main characters kind of annoying. But I‘ll give it a few more chapters. Tiffy does kind of have a dream job!
I adored these characters, their quirks made them memorable. Told from a dual POV it's easy to forget that they literally had never met until half way though the book. An added bonus of the easiness of seeking help for trauma goes a long way in normalizing mental health care.
After a bad breakup, Tiffy Moore needs a place to live. Fast. And cheap. But the apartments in her budget have her wondering if astonishingly colored mold on the ↩️
I‘m here to remind you that Beth O‘Leary new book publication date is coming closer and closer (29/04/21) and if you still haven‘t read her previous two amazing books - now is the perfect time to fix that mistake!

Whilst chicklit is no longer my number 1 genre of choice to read I do still read it occasionally. From the outset I was very interested to see how Tiffy and Leon's unusual flat sharing arrangement would pan out given that their agreement was that they would never be in the flat at the same time as each other. A heartwarming read, the characters were well rounded with their own interesting backstories as well. A highly enjoyable book.
I throughly enjoyed this book. It dealt with quite serious topics carefully and thoughtfully. The characters were well rounded and relatable and thought the plots threads were resolved nicely. I‘m not a huge fan of epilogues, I don‘t always find them necessary but I did shed a tear for a note shared in the final pages. Must read for chick lit fans.
