It‘s been a while since I last posted and I have about 15/16 books I need to write about😂 I just finished One Night in Edinburgh and I did like it. The start and the end were better than the middle for me but I think that was maybe just the mood for what I wanted to read ⭐️⭐️⭐️

I really should‘ve written my review for The Hating Game right after reading it because I really did enjoy it. However I have since watched the movie and I feel it has maybe tainted my original view because now I can‘t separate them.

I would definitely recommend the book to anyone who enjoys enemies to lovers- 100%. The movie is also an ok rom-com but just not how I interpreted the book really.

Not posted in a while so I know have a backlog of books to post about!

I really enjoyed The Flat Share, especially the flipped format between Tiffy and Leon‘s POV. I also think compared to other books I‘ve read recently this was a lot more emotional and hard hitting and although touching on really sensitive subjects including domestic abuse and PTSD it was done really well!

My next book a day choice was the soulmate equation. Clearly sticking to the science romance theme, this book didn‘t disappoint. I don‘t think I need to say much more than there is cat named pigeon- so of course I loved it 😂

Since my exams have finished I‘m clearly averaging at a book a day, and I don‘t think that will stop anytime soon!

Its another wildly unrealistic romance novel, which is full of every trope in the book but sometimes that‘s just what you need 😂the relationship feels more in-depth than others I‘ve read. I loved Mac changing her people pleasing ways and following what she truly wants!

Although the premise of this story starts a little strange to say the least, it‘s really well executed! I loved the rawness of Stella‘s character and how she developed throughout the book.

This may be the fastest I‘ve ever read a book - page turner is an understatement. I truly now believe the TikTok hype 😂

Nute I pitched this book to my irl Bookclub and they elected to bypass. I was so disappointed. Now I want to text them all the words stated in your post.🙂 Or elect the assistance of TikTok.😆 2y
catrionataylor @Nute i bought it on a complete joke thought it would be just a little bit of cheesiness I would enjoy but I actually really liked it 😂. Not even embarrassed to say so hahaha 2y
Nute Right on! I‘m definitely pushing it at them again in our Next Year‘s Reading Selections Meeting in December.😃 2y

There was not one chapter of this book I didn‘t enjoy, a feel good love story that I would read again in a heart beat!

Sassy_Steph I can‘t find this book on my libby app or on my app for my book store, Chapters 2y
catrionataylor @Sassy_Steph if you‘re from the US I think it‘s called people we meet on vacation! This is the British title 😊 2y

I loved the hunger games books so thought I‘d give the prequel a try! Overall, I loved learning more about the world of Panem and how the games came about, but some of the story felt a bit rushed and confused. However, I do always find it impressive when I want to keep reading even when I don‘t like the main character!

Bit of a different book to what I would normally read, but the terrifying twists of this Jack the Ripper story kept me turning the pages and I will definitely read the sequels!
