The Neil Gaiman Audio Collection
The Neil Gaiman Audio Collection | Neil Gaiman
10 posts | 8 read | 3 to read
Four of beloved author Neil Gaiman's delightfully scary, strange, and hilarious children's tales read by the author, now available unabridged. This collection includes:
The Day I Swapped My Dad for Two Goldfish: An unforgettable story that will take readers on a journey into the murky mind of a young boy and the perils of striking a bargain.
The Wolves in the Walls: Lucy is sure there are wolves living in the walls of their house -- and, as everybody says, if the wolves come out of the walls, it's all over. Her family doesn't believe her. Then one day, the wolves come out.
Cinnamon: This charming fable of an exotic princess who refuses to speak currently exists only on Neil's official website and has never been published in print or any other format.
Crazy Hair: Bonnie tries to comb the narrator's crazy hair -- where gorillas leap and tigers stalk -- and is in for a surprise in this delightful rhyming tale.

This was by far the most prolific #AuthorAMonth so far, with over 30 readings of Gaiman books! (I feel proud! 💗🤗)
@BookwormAHN is in the lead with 15 books read! (Gaiman really helped you out!)
In a close 2nd, it‘s @erzascarletbookgasm with 13 read so far.
3rd is currently held by @ValerieAndBooks with 10.

Today starts Roald Dahl, another quick, fun reads author. I can‘t wait to see who wins the bookish box the 15th!

Bklover I will never manage that many books in a month, but I did check out two Dahls from the library. This will be fun. 💕 4y
Andrew65 Thanks for the tag! Plenty of light reading ahead with Roald Dahl! I particularly recommend The Witches, the BFG and my favourite Matilda. Of course Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is a true classic too! In my early days of teaching I remember reading George‘s Marvellous Medicine to a class and couldn‘t read for laughing! (edited) 4y

BookwormAHN I loved Gaiman month. @Andrew65 I just started The Witches. It is really good. 4y
tjwill I wish I had joined in on AAM sooner! I love Gaiman! I read two of his books this past month with my son—ones that are in our regular rotation. (Fortunately, the Milk and Chu‘s Day) 4y
LibrarianRyan yeahhhh. I've read his picture books and seen his movies. that counts right. I will admit I'm the only person I know who didn't like the Graveyard book. (edited) 4y

Finished another audiobook by Neil Gaiman, this was only 48 minutes and was short stories written by him. None of them particularly stand out against his full stories, but I don‘t wonder how strange a father must be to agree to being traded by his own son and then numerous times after by other kids, quite silly really haha.

#AllHallowsBookExchange @MaleficentBookDragon

Oops! The nice lady at the post office fixed my envelope so that the postage went from $26 to $10. So the exterior no longer has hashtags, but is plain and boring, but it will arrive by Wednesday, in plenty of time for #AllHallowsEve

SilversReviews Love the paper. 7y
