pickThis was my first Kristan Higgins‘ novel and I loved it! It‘s got just about everything I‘m looking for in a contemporary story: laughs, heart, compelling and complicated characters, and just enough sadness to make me really feel for them. There‘s even a dog and a bookstore! I cannot wait to read more from this author…I just wish I hadn‘t waited so long! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
My precious, very tall, 9 year old read 40-50 this year! He prefers reading before falling asleep, and loves rereading favorites, so I can‘t keep track. 😂 But he‘s awesome. Proud of him!

I don‘t know who my secret pal is but he or she has blessed me in many ways this week!!! As an educator my why has always kept me motivated but this week has been rough. I think we‘re all ready for fall break!! I‘m ready to read, sip tea and binge watch Bones and Castle.
so-soWhew. I am glad to be done with this one. An 8th grade student of mine gave it to me to read because she knows I like horror and thrillers. It‘s definitely a younger YA. Maybe I would have liked this when I was little, but for adult me, it didn‘t work. But I read it, and I‘ll tell her and I enjoyed it, because she was so sweet to think of me.
