#CurrentListen — I finished number 5 and rolled right into number six in the #TitaRosieKitchenMystery series. So sad that this is the last one of the series! #CozyMystery

If you love flowers and want to grow them (or like me, just look at pretty pictures of them) this book is for you. It‘s a sumptuous #ChronicleBooks publication.
Here‘s author Erin describing the Floret books: https://youtu.be/3Ajm8noh8BU?si=jFPsDATJeEcqnBzl

Erin is a nerd at heart — her first autumn task is to take notes! That‘s why her books and videos appeal to the #armchairgardener in me. Plus, the abundance of beauty!
For a treat, I recommend the Floret Farm Journal on YouTube: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLORP5H1hcHLncqPYJkIErSCRFn9Vn0Tp3&si=cO_LUrSA...

Beautiful illustrations and simple text make this a good book for kids who like to collect bird facts.

“I never had to leave the country to taste the world‘s flavors. Wherever you live, come along with me.”

🤔 I‘m a cruncher, definitely! 🤣🤣🤣

The #AdventPromptoftheDay is actually an activity: cook your favorite recipe.
So, my question is:
🎄What‘s your favorite cookbook? What makes it special?

#CurrentListen after finishing The Busybody Book Club and bailing on The Unwedding (a Reese pick not beloved on Litsy.
This is the 5th in the #TitaRosieKitchenMystery series and I‘ve enjoyed books 1-4, so here goes!

Maybe one you read as a kid, or one you read to your child, or one you read recently. (Yes, there are illustrated books for grown-ups!)

This was a fun cozy mystery. The audiobook added to the experience as well. It did include some Bridgerton, Shakespeare, and Star Wars spoilers, so beware 🤣

Almost done preparing my #HolidayCardSwap with stickers galore! Thanks to @TheBookHippie for organizing!

I very much enjoy reading and listening to books at the same time.
I usually always have one mystery going, even if I‘m reading 10 other things! Since I finished the latest Jimmy Perez (The Killing Stones) and I have this one out from the library in paper and audio form, hello busybodies!

I am an #armchairgardener — I fell in love with #FloretFarm from watching their series #GrowingFloret. Erin has gorgeous books and Floret maintains a YouTube channel with beautiful videos chock full of flowers, seeds, trees, and beauty. 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

A bit of reading, thinking, and notetaking for Monday‘s #bookclub

Anybody else love the #Finch app like I do? Here‘s my birb, #PennyBirb! #selfcare I spend an inordinate amount of time outfitting Penny and sending them off in adventures!

I finished all my work tasks so it‘s time for some enjoyment: comfy couch, weighted blanket, soft music, #immersionreading — 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

Well this one didn‘t end up where I expected! I enjoyed it, though the main character‘s casual pettiness and 1950s prejudices were annoying, even in a period mystery. I don‘t have much patience for it. I really enjoyed the audiobook narrator and loved my #immersionreading of print + audio. (And no, it‘s not really a holiday book 🤨)

Reading for tomorrow‘s book club. I broke down and got a physical copy — annotations really help me understand and flipping through the pages helps me remember. Now I have the book in 3 formats 🤣🤣🤣

Yes, I was out and about this morning! Visit @WanderingBookaneer ‘s feed to see some of her amazing photos of this morning‘s sights. (Now its back to #armchairbirdwatching for me!)

#TOC part 1. Inspired by @TheBookHippie I might do a deep dive on some of these and share some links. Interested? #librarylove
